Continuining on our obsession with robots, we got this nice vid from Newscientist. Being hailed as one of the robots which will play an extremely important part in medical science as well as in handling terrorism threats, the robot is still under development. Vid after the jump

Imagine ,a doctor operating on a patient on another continent or a bomb that can be deftly handled and even dis-armed without any threat to human life. Built by a team in Germany, they are even working on having the robots communicate with each other.

They could have done something in the looks department though, the being looks right out of the terminator movies being a threat to humanity rather than a boon.
