Once again, it reminds me of the words of one of the greatest science fiction writers of all times - Arthur Clarke who said that technology which is sufficiently advanced will result in humans who do not understand it to think of it as magic. The Soliddrive, is able to convert any solid material such as a wall, glass or table into a sound source. Created by Induction Dynamics, this technology results in creating a speaker of the entire glass pane or table. The 520 gram unit that has to be stuck on to the surface has dimensions of 2.28-inch diameter and 2.08-inch height.

The unit itself is designed as a stud which seems like one that is supporting the glass pane to stay in place rather than having anything to do with the music. The omni directional sound literally immerses the user with the sound from all directions while simultaneously maintaining channel seperation.
