These fashionable keyboards are sure having a wonderful time on our website. Nearly every day we have some new keyboard product that manages to sneak on to the front pages. While this one is more for comfort than fashion, it is certainly fitting into the 'extremely useful' idea. As a long time user of cell phones which have QWERTY systems on them (first with the Nokia 5500 and now the Sony Ericsson P910i) ; I have always loved to have an entire keyboard at my fingertips. Despite having hands smaller than average, it is still difficult to use those tiny pads. But there has really not been a convenient solution till these rollable, foldable, then fabric made keyboards and now the carrypad came along.

Unlike the first two, the latter actually acts as a bag, letting you store your devices and stuff inside it while not being used. The carrypad connects to the necessary device by bluetooth and can then be used as a normal full size keyboard. The prototype here was produced to demonstrate just one way in which the keyboard sensor can be used. It has been stitched in to a neoprene fabric and made into a case. The keyboard is based on the core Eleksen technology of sensors and switches made from, and integrated into fabrics. The carrypad weighs 89 grams, nothing to complaint about even when compared to a normal bag. However it certainly is not washable, so if you like to plonk your keyboard on any surface (cafe, restuarant et. al) then perhaps you are better off with the washable keyboard that can even shed its own light out for operation in dark areas.
