Wi-Fi toys that you should not do without

photovuPresenting the Wi-Fi toys that would make a geek proud to decorate his home with. The Photovu is a digital photo frame that is Wi-Fi based and can synchronise automatically with Flickr. The 17" beauty can automatically update itself from a host of different sources which include Flickr, Apple iPhoto Photocasts and Google Picasa. You could of course set it to go through a slideshow that you set up previously on your computer.

robot_r100.jpgThe R100 is another one that we strongly recommend. Unless you already got yourself the R2D2 or the PaPeRo (a personal favorite) then you need the R100. It looks cute , colorful and more of russian doll type thing (remember the game where each doll fits into another?). This robot is equipped with six ultra sonic sensors and three microphones that act as its ears. It can recognise you and flashes its LEDs while it walks around the house. It is able to read out aloud your emails and has another 300 phrases which it uses whenever it feels like.
