Shipping the SSX Blue was due anytime soon and would not have got EA a mention at Fashionfunky by itself, but its the venue where they did the launch was most impressive. This game which has promised to re-write video game control rules (read SSX Blur and the Nunchuk) was released with much fanfare at the Ice Hotel.

The game has been shipped to the United States (pricing is to be $49.99). Launch in Europe is after a few days, on March 9 to be precise. An ice hotel, in case you havent heard about them before are made entirely from ice. Their lobbies are often filled with ice sculptures, and food and beverages are specially chosen for the circumstances. All of the ice hotels are reconstructed every year. Even the glasses at the bar are made of ice. As far as memory serves, only the bathrooms are heated, everything else is covered by furs and rugs - kind of like a huge igloo. The one at Quebec was selected by EA for launching the Ice Hotel. there were several Wii Kiosks for the journalists to get acclimatised with the SSX Blur.
