toilet2.jpgAnd speaking of the 22nd century and urinals, heres when from China whihc promises to shake things. For gents only, this one lets you step up to one, pretty much like a phone booth and a small 50m screen blocks your rear end from being exposed, while the top and bottom of you are completely so. A small area of 2 square meters says Ubergizmo is what is assigned to you to go about your business. The liquid waste is absorbed by charcoal ashes. The best part is the cost - only $128 for making and installing one on the streets.

It remains to be seen whether these creations of designer Lu Xiaoqing, will be accepted by the general populace. It still would be a bit embarassing since people up and down the street would be able to see and make out what exactly is going on. The loo is already embroigled in controversy since the first installation at Foreigners Street in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
