The Porsche Panamera has been caught on camera undergoing testing under heavy armour to disguise detailed design cues. The 4 door coupe has been known in automotive circles for some time and is widely expected to be revealed to the public in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show. Of course the designing is taken from the widely popular Porsche 911 series and the Panamera is expected to fill in the gap for the family who loves the look of the 911 but needs a sedan for practical purposes. With 4 seats and a boot for luggage.

Panamera will be assembled in Leipzig, Germany with the body being sourced from Volkswagen plant on Hanover. Porsche plans to produce 20 000 units a year from 2009.
