Flashing Ice Cubes make for funky parties

Posted by Funkyguy on March 11, 2007 9:33 AM

ice_cube_home.jpgRule #1 Get some of these glowy fashion funky ice cubes before you throw a Madame Curie themed party
Rule #2 Get your guests to sign a no-responsibility contract in case they decide to swallow one to become glow fish
And it does tend to happen, especially in rave parties and the likes where people are so far zonked that they would not differentiate between an ice berg and a ice cube. Trust me I know, read about the Melbourne Shuffle for starters.

But nevertheless the idea of glowing ice cubes does seem uber cool. These are powered by batteries though and swalloing them would make for some not so pleasant after effects. You could even set the cubes onto any 1 of the 3 available settings - double blinking, single blinking or a solid color. A tube costs nearly 6 pounds (more since that does not include VAT which you need to pay if you are in the UK. A tube contains 3 ice cubes with colors of red, white and blue in each.
