Trust Japan to come up with the most atrociously geeky gizmos and then go totally retro on the other hand. Check out these images of the self powered 'fun ride' from Japan that takes you around on a long ride on your own power. Are these guys serious, what happens if theres an emergency, they order some pedal power, and what if someone decides to go sick right in the middle of the ride, those seats done seem like they would hold on to much. And then again check out the size of this thing, its gigantic, with slopes on the way.

Maybe its just a hoax.
