The 1 inch display is LCD based and iRiver claims that even BMP files will be viewable clearly on the T50. For a music player, the T50 does its job well considering that it supports formats such as MP3/OGG/WMA. a built-in FM tuner lets you get the on air stations if your collection has gotten a bit rusty since you last played it.

The iRiver T50 has 1 GB ogfbuilt-in memory and operates on a single AAA battery. The battery will last the player for 18 playing hours. The T50 goes on sale in Japan soon for the approximate price of USD 85$. Color options will be black / white.
