Melbourne Auto Show 2007 - Part V

xy.jpgAnd the final part to our never ending coverage of the Melbourne Auto Show 2007 - More than a 100 pictures in all! This entry also brings to the fore a concept car from audio experts Alpine who showcased a modified Chrysler to show what a real music system feels like



The Alpine Concept car, these guys have done something remarkable to a Chrysler 300C.

The land rovers, showing just how powerful these off roaders can be. Unlike the other cars which were displayed on the ground, these giants were seen climbing up and down on steep inclinations to provide an image of their off-roading capability.

The Fiat Punto, with fuel cutting into the budget even the Federal governments grant for people (Australian citizens) who wish to install LPG / CNG kits, people still want to go for petrol cars so efficiency matters.

The famous 'pup' - voted once as the 'sexiest car ever'.

The Holden area had this mini hot air balloon which was making a pest of itself. Turns out that the controller was standing right there in a corner and pestering people with the Holden logo. Seen here, teaching others how to act like a fly - buzz around but not to close so as to get swatted.

The Chevrolet Camaro, one of the superstars at the Melbourne Auto Show - she packs in a 6 liter, V8 engine and is expected to go on sale in the states next year.

Mouthwatering platter of Porsche's on display

Suzuki Ionis, the concept car from Suzuki gets its first look at the land down under. The Ionis uses only drive by wire technology for major components. The fuel cell power plant is located under the floor with hydrogen fuel tanks.
