More hybrids, including SUV hybrids , a car that pulled a plane and a made in Australia tri-wheeler that promises to end traffic woes - it even looks futuristic, promises to be extremely stable and takes care of the fuel bill as well. The Caparo T1 - a car who the CEO boasts has a client list which never ask the price, they simply order it - its that good ; all this and more after the jump
The Beetle Turbo Diesel along with the non-diesel versions, everyones baby, this one still gets 'soo cute' cries whenever a female sees it at close quarters.

The Volkswagen Touareg Turbo diesel - who could ever forget this aeroplane pulling monster.

The Elfin Streamliner (from Holden) powered by a 5.7 liter chevrolet heritage V8 engine mated with a heavy duty 6 speed gear box. 350 kw@ 5600 rpm and 660 Nm @ 4400 rpm. The brakes on this one are aircraft specification heavy duty ones to make sure that the powerful monster can stop when commanded to do so.

The Elfin clubman, the purebred sports machine also on display. Again the 5.7 liter engine from Chevrolet lies beneath the hood, this time tuned for an output of 245 kw @ 5600 rpm / 465 Nm @ 4400 rpm. Race specification coil and shock absorbers with height adjustment functionality. About $100,000 AUD plus on the road costs, these babies can actually be registered for running on the roads.

Finally a made in Australia vehicle from Bonning. Designed in Queensland (one of our states), its designed by Brad Bonning. It goes from 0-100 kmph in just under five seconds. In case you did'nt notice he decided that three wheels were better than four. The engine under the hood is a Honda CBR 1000 which is sufficient because of the low weight of the machine. The aluminium body weighs only 400 kg. The Bonning roadster was designed entirely by hand and seats two comfortably. It also promises a lot of stability and wont tip over even at high speeds.

The Caparo T1, built by the UK's Caparo group runs on a 2.4 liter V8 engine and blasts from 0-100 kmph in 2.5 seconds. Official tops speed is 320 kmph and is considered to be so superbly aerodynamic that it could drive upside down in a tunnel at 250 kmph. Despite the high speed, the car is remarkably efficient having a range of 800 kms on a tank capacity of 70 liters of petrol. This is possible because of the extremely low weight of the Caparo. Costing $625,000 AUD, the CEO, Richard Butler mentioned that most of our customers come from a position where they dont bother asking about the price when they order the car.
