According to the Nintendo World Report, they are looking into incorporating speech recognition technology into Wii games. They are also looking into the possibility of having text-to-speech for Wii. Announced by company’s middleware developer Takeshi Shimada - it does bear weight. Another thing that they were trying to achieve was to make the Wii more intelligent. A manner of predictive input which would be able to speed up gaming since the Wii would be able to predict your next motion based on your previous movements.
