Taking after Xbox Live or else as some claim after the immensely popular Second Life, Sony gave in to the virtual life demand and unveiled the 'Playstation Home' at San Francisco yesterday. Keeping it free for Playstation 3 users, the new service is going to be launched later this year. Just like in second life , users are able to create avatars and then chat with other users in the system. chatting shall be possible by using text, audio, video, and avatar animations. Developers will also be able to set up public spaces which others can visit.
