Microsoft is trying hard, read, really hard to push up sales of the Xbox 360. But, they still need to get a few things right. Their latest attempt is to release a new model of the Xbox 360, one that will feature HDMI output, a 120 GB hard drive. However what comes as an apparent surprise is that neither HD DVD nor wi-fi have been put in as standaards but can be ordered as optional extras (read more money). These will be part of a limited edition (read even more money).

The new black Xbox 360 (Xbox 360 Elite) is scheduled to arrive in America in April '07. The pricing is expected to be in the range of $480. Its advanced chips will let it run cooler and it shall have a 120 gigabyte hard disk drive.
