Worlds smallest TV tuner card

elsa-telebit.jpgThats not what the manufacturer claimed, but I am darn sure that I am right on this one. They actually managed to fit in a TV tuner card with all the required electronics on a mere SD card which just weighs 5 grams. Meant for, you guessed it, Japan only, the Elsa Telebit (really is just a bit sized thingy) will cost approximately 110$ USD. The card shall be able to tune into the popular (in Japan) 1seg format. They did throw in a telescoping arial just in case.

So we really cant complain; now I only wish I was staying in Japan for the tech that these guys get, and the beautiful geishas too - but it is a damn expensive place to stay, lets hope that Dell or someone offers this stuff to us as well. Of course, once the card is able to tune into other formats too. I reckon thats one wish too many.
