windows_xp.jpgAnd so Microsoft has ordained. Just when we got the hang and feel of Windows XP down to a pat, new computers from 2008 onwards will be only available with Windows Vista. This is of course after painstaking research that clearly showed audiences were not yet comfortable with the Vista since it is so different. In fact, only 10% of those polled planned to upgrade.

Solution? - cut out the alternatives, even if it means the alternates are your own products. Windows XP will be retired from 31st January 2008 onwards and this includes all of its editions.
