As iPhone nears its release date - yup, Apple just confirmed that they will - truly, madly, deeply - stick to the June release dates , the victim list has begun. This is what we shall call products including handsets that will be victimised due to the iPhone's launch. With the expected sales of the iPhone, it is certain that a lot of other handsets will fall through thus becoming victimised. The tally as of now has begun with Apple's own - The Leopard.
In order to stick to the deadline members of the Mac OS X team were pulled over from working on the Leopard which planned to ship in June. Developers will now have to make do with a beta version while the final version debut moves to October. Our verdict? Leopard or not, we dont care - give us the iPhone, now!
