With more devices came the issue of buying more accessories. Like the ridiculous time when even if all your devices use the SD format, because of the size (some have SD slots, others prefer microSD) you still end up buying different cards. Companies like OCZ Technology are working hard to remedy this situation. They have created storage devices such as the OCZ Trifecta (the three in one).
This wonderfully nifty storage card can fit into SD card slots, a part can be snapped off to go into microSD card slots (while converters are available to this - the third event cannot be replicated by converters) ; the Trifecta can even go into USD slots when its bottom portion is removed. This means the same card can be used as a memory drive, used in media players, cameras and cell phones. Capacities are available from 1 GB to 2 GB and OCZ even promises a 5 year warranty.
Sandisk had also announced a similar product sometime back
