Seen at the recently concluded Shanghai Auto Show, the Suzuki SX4 was meant primarily for Europe. However the mini SUV made good inroads into the American market and is now being brought to China as well. The entire range of the SX4 will be available in China. The Suzuki SX4 is powered by the same engine as the popular Swift. The diesel version though gets its power from a Fiat sourced engine. The 5 door hatchback style which was initially introduced in 2006 has been complemented to by a sedan version which was displayed in the New York Auto show.
Both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions of the SX4 are available. The 4WD models use an electronically controlled four wheel drive system, alternating between front drive, automatic 4WD and 50:50 split permanent 4WD.
The SX4 offers great value for money and also happens to be the lowest priced SUV in the market in the United States.
