Before I say anything to invite the ire of the millions of DS fans out there, let me make it clear; I am on your side. I briefly adored the PSP but finally fell in love with the DS. So take it in good spirit when I say that I prefer the build quality of the PSP to the DS. While it may not be , it certainly seems to be extremely frail. In fact the displays by virtue of being inside help in preventing scratches but we have long demanded for a case / protector for the DS lite.

Colors are chosen at random when shipped'. the shell even has a special padding to protect it from bumps and bruises. According to sources, the Nerf Armor even makes it easier to play the DS by adding soft corners.
