Harry Potters invisible cloak invented

hp3.jpgAnd so it begins, The-one-who-must-not-be-named may also be true at this rate. In any case without further digressing from the topic, an 'invisibility shield' is now becoming more fact then fiction with scientists able to create an ‘invisibility cloak’ made out of ‘metamaterial’ which can bend electromagnetic radiation – such as visible light, radar or microwaves – around a spherical space, making an object within this region appear invisible.

So far the flexible movements and bodies of humans as well as animals are creating problems but machines such as fighter jets which have a constant shape can be easily made invisible. The technology which is still in the initial stages would make it impossible for say anti-aircraft guns to be used in war. With the radar absorption technology which is already making it near impossible to detect stealth jets, wars of the future are certainly going to be anything but fair.

Invisibility cloaks like that of Harry Potter though are still some way away before they can be created. Scientists predict that invisibility will be possible for objects of any shape and size within the next decade.
