But after seeing and drooling over the iPhone, it doesnt look so smart no more. In fact I only like these bulky creatures when Blackberry releases them. It seems to all fit with everything else when Blackberry makes them, the others feel like cheap imposters. The Motorola Q9 would not win any prizes for its good looks but it would be a good contender for the 'biggest looser' title in terms of bulk of course. The handset itself, the Motorola Q9 is in truth a smart phone in terms of its capabilities.
It is thin, 11.8 mm only and yet manages to pack in an operating system none other than Windows Mobile 6 (this ends most of your compatibility woes as most office work can be carried on to the Q9 with ease).
Features include Quad-Band (EDGE/GPRS) functionality, video capture and playback at 30 fps, HSDPA, Bluetooth A2DP, 256 mb of internal memory, a microSD slot, a 320 x 240 display, and a 2 megapixel camera. The Motorola Q9 is rumoured to become available in the second quarter of this year.
