The new 911 Turbo Cabriolet has just been announced. It shall be released on September 8 this year. The nearly $172k Porsche has a 3.6 liter engine which produces 480 bhp (353 kW). Surprising for a sports car, the Porsche 911 cabriolet is giving some excellent fuel mileage. Its average fuel consumption of 12.9 litres / 100 kms is stupendous fuel economy for a car with a top speed of 310 km/h. The 911 Turbo Cabriolet with six-speed manual accelerates from 0 - 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds – with Tiptronic S the sprint time is cut to 3.8 seconds, just 0.1 sec adrift of the Turbo Coupe.
The car has a soft roof top which can open or close automatically in 20 seconds. The rear spoiler raises automatically at 120 km/h.

Such a high performance machine needs the best in brakes and this is obtained in the form of Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) (optional). Standard features are full leather interior, bi-xenon head lamps, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, climate control air conditioning, wind-deflector, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with satellite navigation and 5.8-inch color monitor and Bose Surround Sound System.
