Its usually after being infected by a Virus that you usually realise that you probably should have installed the latest anti-virus software and it would have been a good idea to update it while you were at it. After infection, some of the smarter virii around prevent accessing the anti-virus sites and some even disable installation of any new softwares. This leaves you in the lurch and the only available option is seeking expensive professional help.
Luckily for us, Digiworks in Korea recognised that this would be alucrative market and they have released the USB Virus chaser. These USB sticks can be used everyday as normal USB memory sticks. However they automatically scan, detect and advise against viruses upon being connected to a PC.
Bright idea, but there are no details as to if the on-board software can be updated, something which is essential in the fight against viruses. It shall be available in May , but pricing and other details are as yet un announced.
