Water cooled laptops from HP

water_drop.jpgAnd this is certainly not a hoax. In place of the noisy fans that are not half as effective as a liquid cooling system, HP plans to produce a range of notebooks with water cooling technology. Since even an amateur nerd is aware of the fact that processing is directly proportional to a lower temperature, we can just hope that there are no stumbling blocks to this idea from HP. Of course the battery life will also increase by a staggering amount since that fan is a sucker for power too.

This is of course possible since HP took over Voodoo and as a result got their hands on some of the technologies such as liquid cooling on which Voodoo had a fantastic head start. HP engineers are looking at 8 hours of battery life for these fanless laptops marketed for the hard-core gamers community.
