And thats not just a rumor, BBC UK actually did a study that found Wi-fi networks in schools can give off three times the height of the signal radiation of phone masts. Considering that radiation affects children more so since their skulls are still developing and that seventy per cent of secondary schools in the UK already have wi-fi and nearly 50% of all primary schools do too, its astounding that no one thought about this so far.
Not surprisingly the debate is having strong support from both sides. Opposition sides insist that there is no such danger. The schools themselves were not aware of any danger from installing a WiFi network.
