Hillary Swank’s a swell woman. She did such an awesome job in both her movies – Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don’t Cry, that no one would think twice when they say they never really saw her in long hair. Ok, she may have had long ones in the first movie, but the image remains with her short hair, sitting perfectly still on her pretty head. Now, the woman may have been really inspired by it herself, because she is going to cut them off and donate it to female cancer patient.

She has joined a campaign to increase awareness amongst females and males with long lovely locks to cut grow, cut and donate their hair to help support cancer patients. It seems a very wise idea, to be donating something for such a serious issue, but isn’t this stretching it a bit too far? It sort of gives out the wrong idea. Ladies will start doing this as though it were some mega spree and social concern and then there will be an excess of wig hair and no one to use it. Some patients may even get offended at such an act saying this was nothing but mockery. It’s a pity how insensitive public relations can do in order to have their clients been given a head turn. Really.
