Not content with announcing one camera at a time, Samsung in its trademark style has announced the NV series. Sure to cause envy amongst others who dont have them (excuse the poor pun but we have some really breakneck deadlines) ; the NV series consist of the NV8, NV15 and NV20. Earlier others in the NV series like the NV11 have been unveiled.
The latest ones though feature some cutting edge technology such as Advanced Shake reduction (need that badly, I always mess up my pictures because of that. Well my cameras dated what else can I say?).
The NV20 is Samsung’s first 12 megapixel compact camera. It also offers 3x optical zoom lens, 2.5-inch screen, Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) and Red-eye fix, TV quality MPEG-4 VGA (640x480) 30fps video recording and a photo gallery function.
The NV15 is a 10 megapixel camera with 2.5-inch wide-view LCD, Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) system, TV quality MPEG-4 video recording and a rechargeable battery. Finally, the NV8 is an eight megapixel camera, again with ASR and Red Eye Fix, 3x optical zoom and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
These two go on sale in the UK from September 2007 and prices are - NV20 is priced at £249, NV15 at £229 and NV8 at £199.
