Now this is more like my style of a machine. A lappie with some serious fun quotient. The Dynabook from Toshiba is a gaming machine with state of the art hardware for supporting gamers whims n fancies. The screen itself shows that they are quite serious about the whole thing with 17.1 inches of glorius love to fiddle around with. The Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT performs duty for rendering the graphics and this makes the Dynabook DirectX10 compliant.
I would be the first guy to see potential in this sort of device. Thats if it were there. Having degrees in finance and being particulaly enamoured with numbers means I am either reaching for my calculator which resides permanently on the side table or for the calculator funtion on the computer several times in an hour. Having a calculator as a mouse would certainly be a space saving idea. This one is a fully functional mouse (optical) with a scroll wheel thrown in for good measure.
Samsung has gotten into a sleek slider and imbibed it with Symbian 9.1 rather than the usual windows OS that they prefer. Considering that Symbian and Windows run neck to neck in features, its an interesting combination to have. Whats more the physical gadgetry on the i750 should prove all the more reason to take full advantage of the Symbian OS. Hardware additions mean that the i570 is capable of pretty much anything that the latest handsets are and then some.
What happens when you use a laptop for all your work and you really really miss the numeric keypad. Well your options are a) get an optional attachment of a keypad which takes up some more space on the already full table or b) get a mouse which is also a keypad. And unlike the mouse calculator which seemed to have been created without any throught for ergonomics, this one has been well designed.
Working on computers for long hours takes their toll. Being an avid reader who finishes Harry Potters latest edition at one stretch doesnt exactly help. And when you throw in studying for a college degree into the whole mess, one really needs to start paying more attention to the eyes. Somehow I dont think my ophthalmologist had the usb eye massager in mind when he told me to take better care of my eyes.
I loved the designs of the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 6, so when I heard about the latest Mazda 6 designs being unveiled I was besides myself. Would Mazda continue on their wave of resurgent popularity or end up GM's way? Well from first looks, the car seems to have gone Toyotas way with the distinctive styling gone and what remains to be similar to a Camry. Not to say that it looks bad but then the customer is always right.
The question that gadget makers are asking themselves these days are not the usual 'Why' but its the more unusual 'Why not' , I mused to myself one day. Gizmos such as the waterproof PMP from Chinavision affirm my thoughts. I am sure that you could do well without your music or media while surfing or swimming. God knows there are already a few ways that allow you to take your iPod down there if you so want. And waterproof ear phones are not so much of a novelty either.
If drooling at automobiles is your favorite past time then look no further. The drool machine is here. Its sure to absorb your quota of sighs n wishes with room to spare. Presenting at the upcoming 2007 Frankfurt IAA motor show in September is the Peugeot 308 RC Z concept car. The beast manages to give out an impression of luxury, extremely sophisticated engineering , speed and smartness all at the same time. It just begs you to jump in and grab the wheel, driving away into the sunset.
Thinkgeek inventors manage to surpass themselves once again. Using the age old technology of the waving LED screen which makes it appear as if words are being written in the air, they combined it with a handheld fan. Thus comes what I have christened as the magic fan , magic since its technology so sophisticated that a person only 50 years from the past would scarce believe that this would be possible. The user can program 6 different messages into the fan which can then be displayed.
NASA with all their geniuses combined have decided that the iPhone is not suitable for business. So while all the more people around the globe are waiting to lay their hands on an iPhone just as soon as Apple can make them, NASA has effectively banned them for use for their officers. I will admit though that I loved Gawker's image of this article was so good that I just had to post it.
Getting a Nintendo DS for my birthday made me hooked on to handhelds like never before. But from all the games that I played, I never knew that the DS was able to handle graphics to such an astounding detail. check out the video and you will agree with me that Ninja Gaiden DS is a must have of a game.
If you are a budding writer or poet or even otherwise, you would know what one means by the term 'writer's block'. In order to overcome this block, writers are known to do weird things. Things like going to the mountains or the beach and sometimes trying to write in the rain, albeit unsuccesfully. But no longer. Some technogeek has managed to invent waterproof paper and it is now being marketed for around 3$ for a notebook.
Uh-Oh was my first reaction when I saw the Hello Kitty guitar. Considering that I play a little bit of this musical instrument and my girlfriend has this apparent psychological problem that makes her buy all things pink and kitty, I see myself in a grim situation indeed. A Hello Kitty guitar and a pink one at that, I shall be the laughing stock at Uni.
We used to be happy with just one of those, then came along the fashion of two. And since more the better seems to be the name of the game, we now have a cell phone with 3 displays. Reminds me of the Ramans from Arthur C Clarke's novel who 'did everything in threes'. So this freaky alien phone actually comes from Japan under the AU design project.
The Urinal Game: Getting the bathroom etiquette right
Regular readers will recall the video I posted some time back about etiquette in the male wash room. Now if you thought yourself too good to watch stuff like that, then show me by playing this game that you have been brought up properly and are not um, sending wrong signals to other guys using the john at the same time.
Most of us guys have developed a pet manner of dealing with the much dreaded question 'Honey am I too fat?'. Thankfully technology has come up to the rescue again. Buy this couch for her dressing table and the next time she says this just change your gaze to the couch. This lovely piece of tech from Japan is a 'fuwa pica'.
While most makers rely on high end specifications which define their lappies as say a gamers delight, Haier decided that good looks were enough to convince the consumers to go in for their products. Thats not to say that the Haier G71 lacks anything in terms of specifications. Lika all the latest lappies on the market, Haier makes use of Intels latest Santa Rosa chipset. A high end 1920 x 1200 resolution is supported by the gigantic display making it perfect for gaming thanks to the Nvidia GeForce Go 7950.
Sounds too good to be true right? Not really, even if by some scientific mumbo jumbo, there was some way of cleaning up clothes; I still would prefer detergents. Why? Well its just that I dont think its clean until it smells clean. Adding some kind of softener or detergent which gives the newly washed smell makes me feel comfortable. As for this washing machine which comes from Haier, it is being retailed in France for $957.
Another machine that runs on the Santa Rosa chipset but this time from LG, with a 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo. Unlike the other gaming machines and desktop replacements that we have been seeing the past couple of days, LG emphasises that they truly wished the LG Xnote R200 to be mobile.
Breaking the 5 megapixel barrier in cell phones, comes the Casio Exilim W53CA. Considering that my digital camera has exactly that many megapixels, I am giving it a look of disdain. But the poor thing has been my constant companion on several travels and is faithful. This lead me to wonder whether I would give up my camera for a cell phone with the same or higher resolution camera. Surprisingly, the answer was - no.
Buying computer off a supermarket shelf sounds the stuff of future, but thats exactly in what we are living. So when Medion offers its latest 6486 for a mere 550 pounds in Tesco then we saw go grab it. This company has been making it big recently and with good reason. They offer decent computers at seriously decent prices. The 6486 may be a bit on the higher side, but then its got the higher config to boot.
I saw a pink pocket mini recently on friends girl, looked really chic on her so it comes as no big surprise that Sony has gone ahead and released a blingy version. Well mini blingy anyway, since the pocket mini did not go golden entirely, it merely took on a very classy golden trim. This golden trimmed gadget is available in black and white colors. This version is called as the USM-HX and also ships with a unique two-way case which lets the card's USB port either face outwards to connect to a PC or inwards to guard it during travel, with a swiveling cover providing an extra layer of security.
When stardom knocks at your door, you throw family into the closet and suffocate them to death. Britney Spears has proved that she is a horrible woman, wife, mother and a daughter. Fellow blonde numb-skull singers can defend her ‘motherly skills’, but if her two children continues to stay with this insane loser, they will end up in worst scenarios than her or her camaraderie in glitzy land. After a lot of freak shows with her babies, the latest is her disgusting concern to get one of her sons’ teeth whitened.
Eddie Murphy was a spineless toad to have denied his fatherhood over Melanie Brown’s and his child, Angel; but she isn’t going to let that affect her. She has made it loud and clear that, come what may, neither she nor her unfortunate Hollywood lover is going to ever make their daughter feel unloved. He wasn’t even around to second that, but it’s pretty vivid as to how much she means this as a serious affair.
Nothing is perfect, neither is Angelina Jolie. Her husband, our legendary hunky boy Brad Pitt is pulling his hair loose to get his wife to eat some food. Initially, it was all fun to have the hottest woman in the world to be his wife and all, but right after giving birth, depression over her mother’s death, insecurity over his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, Jolie has shriveled into a vegetable and now he is thinking of kicking her off to rehab.
It was way too good to be true. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, I mean. They are both at real high stakes and such a couple would only look good in movies or glossy fashion photography. Not in real life. The woman has become so insanely possessive about her partner that they seem to only be fighting; most of which are initiated by her. The last straw has been recently when she threw a glass of wine at him over ridiculous political arguments.
While hot shot couples seem to be steaming under pressure and dueling at the drop of a pin, there are some couples who are thoroughly enjoying their togetherness and basking in each other’s glory. Like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The Latin couple is a bit of an odd duo to look at, but they seem to compliment each other perfectly. He is short, weird and talented and she is hot, sexy and dominating.
How much we all cherish those underwater memories – however concurrently regret not capturing those adventurous moments. This time, when you go diving in Paradise Island blue waters, snorkelling, scuba diving, or go searching for those splendid corals – take with you – the “SeaLife DC600” – the 6.1 mega pixel CCD camera.
Do not worry, you won’t be damaging your precious camera – it has been designed to survive the rocky underwater setting – without any fear – take it up to 200 feet underwater and capture your moments of glory. The unique Spy mode feature lets you take pictures continuously – at set time intervals – there is no chance of you missing out on something unforgettable – letting you capture the wonderful still images of hard to photograph underwater beauties. The result is crystal clear, high resolution pictures to show your family, friends and relatives, and to keep it as memorabilia.
The latest offering by Anynote - AL5600G – is one bold attempt to simultaneously please both ardent gamers and media notebook aficionados. As a gamer, the 15.4 inch system – along with the usual extras – equipped with a Subwoofer to fill out the sound of its speakers – looks like an interesting offering. It is going to add an exciting dimension to my video game action and also double up the fun.
Nicole Richie is pregnant. Yeah, its old news, but what’s new is that she has come out to confirm that she actually is pregnant and she thinks it may be around four months. How would she know? She pays people to keep a schedule of whatever happens to her, doesn’t she? She recently told at a TV interview that she is carrying her boyfriend Joel Madden’s child. So with a lot of things in her hand – pregnancy, probable engagement, marriage, divorce and imprisonment for four days, she is definitely making her daddy, Lionel Richie, proud.
Remember how one of the hosts of the talk show The View, Star Jones, suddenly shrunk to an ant’s size from a frog’s size? Well, she allowed herself the excruciating pain of the gastric by pass surgery where they make a hole in your body somewhere and clean out the entire cellulite making you look like you never had even an ounce of fat in your body ever. The aftermath though is always a scare because not all operations are very successful. Anyway, the point is she let herself be a victim of medical intervention just so lose some weight and looks all chic.
Pete Daugherty is an idiot. He finally got some sense and realized what he was doing all at the cost of losing a world famous super model. He is now crying out to Kate to get back with him. Though he is still adamant over her abusive habits and her insecurity and her various other annoying habits, he is ready to over come them all and get her back into his life. He must have stoned himself blue to have let this golden egg out of his hands.
As the old generation passes by the new one is slowly sprouting up. Everywhere you look, you will see a celebrity hidden in some niche or corner with a huge stomach or a child in the shadows. Today, we speak about Geri Halliwell. All those men rained upon her and one of them left her a gift for posterity. Her baby, Bluebell. Recently they were seen at the Nice Airport in France where the little one fell and hurt herself while playing with her mother’s cell phone.
Hermione is in love and she has been romancing around the streets of France with her lover boy Tom Ducker. You would think she had a thing for Ron Weasely but apparently quidditch isn’t what she prefers, but it is rugby. You know who I am talking about right? Hermione Granger? The 17 year old girl from Harry Potter? Emma Watson. She was seen in France with her boyfriend lunching and wining at a restaurant and they looked ‘very much in love’ according to witnesses.
Relationships are flying high in tinsel town lately and the ratio of marriages to separations are going higher to lower. Reese Witherspoon may get back with her separated partner, Ryan Phillippe. She doesn’t care if he slept with any South African or not. The issue is that she is lonely, out of work and she needs some male attention. She has obviously not got lucky and he was probably the last man standing for her.
Many legends have made their mark on it and a new one has been finally added. Her sharp, sculptured features and her extremely annoying acting skills have made it to the walk of fame. Michelle Pfeiffer may have got a billion face lifts and a hundred body part jobs, but any hoo she owns one of the stars on Hollywood Boulevard. She must have gone through the efforts of the earlier mentioned for this dream come true, but my! What a price to pay!
Did you know who gave away Lindsay Lohan this time around? The mother of her ex-assistant. It seems she was chasing her about in a drunken state in her car and the woman called 911 and got the chic busted. Well, that isn’t the point here. Point is, she has been transferred to a rehab and has started her lessons at the Cirque Lodge in Utah. She has been keeping low apparently because this time around she must have realized how different she was from normal 21 year olds.
Men in Hollywood have to start controlling their boost of affection and leave the women alone. After Eddie Murphy turned a sour grape in a bag of fresh strawberries, it is now Chris Rock’s turn to face the grunt. The difference is, this one is a pure lie and the woman in question, Kali Bowyer, suddenly seems to have waken up after 13 long years to discover her Rock is her child’s father. Rock is little taken aback; but with the undying support from his wife too, he has build up his shields and is ready to fight.
Toni Braxton is being sued by Anthony Franco for giving an improper cheque for her wardrobe he designed. It seems that the payment wasn't complete and it must have been withdrawn by the singer. He had made this wardrobe for a show of hers that was ironically titled - Toni Braxton: revealed. Maybe that was the issue. He made it too revealing and she proved her disappointment by not paying him in full.
When Akon sang Mr Lonely no one would have thought that there was so much reason in it. It must have been inspired during the three year jail sentence he had to serve. Apparently it was very peaceful and nice in the jail and that encouraged him to write song lyrics which came out to be such a huge success. The lesson of this story is that if you wish to make it successful in the music industry, all you have got to do is, rob a bank.
Cate Blanchett is a little odd. She is going to stop washing her hair to save the environment and be a green role model for her children. With all the dirt that will form up on her head, she will start getting amoeba or one of those green growth in time and then she will be green and hence become the green role model for her children. Such a loving mother! What if she goes the long way and clears all environmental waste to be a better role model?
Nothing can be more thrilling than having a ghost act as your webcam. This friendly Japanese born “Ghost Webcam” comes with a big round head – having a large eyeball – attached to a small naked body. The eye ball acts as the standard webcam – and a USB cable attaches to the head-eyeball. At the time of making a video call – the ghost’s flexible arms and legs can be positioned to get the right viewing angle. For me - this Ghost lacks in aesthetic appeal and not a pleasing thing to look at.So if you are looking for something visually attractive – this might not be for you – but if you are an experimental kind of person – the Ghost is all ready to be your webcam.
Are you toying with the idea of having a new notebook or planning to buy one? If you want a deadly one – which looks great and works perfect – you would like to own a VAIO TZ18GN. It is Sony’s first flash-based solid-state disk (SSD) – 11.1 inch – portable notebook. Build around a carbon fibre – having a 32GB flash based hard drive – it is incredibly light and small – weighing only 1.15 Kg - and have about 11.5 hours battery life on a single charge.
Computer aficionados have an extra reason to smile. HTC Advantage palmtop computer has made its debut in US. The mobile computer having a 5-inch VGA-resolution touch screen display – with a retail price- tag of – approximately – $899 – might be a tad too expensive. Though it seems to be creating a lot of enthusiastic buzz.
Why should boys have all the fun – it is time to display some sophisticated, chic girl comp power - ChicPetite Notebook. Not only is the name pretty – it looks even prettier with flowers. It comes with a 12.1-inch screen - weighing 4.2 pounbds – powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T7600. It has an Express Card reader, 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive and about 802.11 b/g wireless.
Sleek – Sturdy – Trendy – are the words that came to my mind, when I saw the 13.3 inch high-end Asus laptop – U3. The laptop sports a smooth black look, has a leather palm rest, and magnesium-aluminum alloy LCD cover – to improve screen protection, for 4H hardness and to enhance the overall high mobility design. Configuration wise – it has a Santa Rosa platform with Intel 2 Duo and up to 2.5 GB of memory. The 13.3-inch panel offers the mobility of a 12" notebook with the visual comfort of a 14" screen.
The new model of digi-cam from Panasonic – Lumix TZ3S 7.2MP Digital - is what the hip and happening stylist ordered. It is not one of the slimmest models – but has an unbeatable compact, smart, and elegant design, sporting an attractive metallic – stainless steel body. Not only it is ultra stylish but also feature rich.
Imagine you are in a car and want to use your notebook to write an important email or chat with someone – most of the time it gets quite uncomfortable using the notebook without something to support. The innovative light weight mobile desk – MobileGear.com WheelDesk – might change all that. The desk is situated vertically on your steering wheel creating a comfortable work surface for typing.
In the year 2010 – Fujitsu computer plans to launch ultra-mega hard drive – storage capacities of up to 1.2TB on a 2-platter, 2.5-inch drive. The confidence is all because of the latest breakthrough – it created ideally “ordered” alumina nanohole patterns for isolated bit-by-bit recording on a large disk area. This technique along with perpendicular magnetic recording processes allows for huge increases in data capacity.
Recently, the king of innovation – Apple – unveiled the brand new – “iMac”– stunner. The new iMac is one gorgeous beauty - having a dazzling 20- and 24-inch widescreen displays encased in elegant and professional aluminum and glass enclosures – integrating the entire computer system into a sleek aluminum enclosure for a clutter-free desktop. An elegant glass cover joins precisely to the aluminum enclosure creating a virtually seamless front surface. Steve Jobs says, “It is the most incredible desktop we’ve ever made,” – and I will be a fool to disregard his statement.
“Sole Mio” is the world’s first mouse to run on solar energy. It runs on a combination of natural and man-made light. The mouse uses 20mA of electricity while active, can store 300mAh onboard, and can charge at a rate of up to 250 mA in full sunlight. You can charge Sole Mio by sitting near the window and it seems to be highly user friendly.

I bet Dino Alberto - Mimoco’s designer (Boston based Toy Company) - loves cartoons. He has designed – the Mimobot Series 2 Flash Drives – in a wide variety of funky and cute cartoon monsters. If you are still gawping at the cute monsters – here is something more to digest – each monster has an elaborate back-story that's loaded onto the drives for your viewing pleasure.
In a move that may upset Microsoft’s apple cart – Dell (the second largest computer makers) has announced its plan to ship first range personal computers to Europe – pre-installed with the Linux operating system (OS). Though Microsoft might not like it (obviously) it is an interesting and lucrative move and makes lots of business sense.
Mirror … Mirror on the wall – is there someone inside you – and the voice said – yes, a TV and a Computer. Pink badges for Thai policemen
Police men in Bangkok will now have to deal with a rare king of problem. Deciding on being punctual and disciplined at work; or else tag their sexual orientation and create scars on their genders. A new order has been taken by the Bangkok police force giving a pink hello kitty armband. The last we heard, Paris Hilton had something to do with the brand.
The world is suddenly going all pink and it is not looking any cute anymore! It has spread like a virus onto everything from blonde celebrities to mean road machine like the Hummer. Samsung has launched this new series of phone with a wide range of colours that will make you either go blind or wish you were. The latest fancy though, seems to be the pink Samsung E570 from its La Fleur range.
Or so it looks like. Seems she secretly got married to her boyfriend Stephan Belafonte. She was supposed to appear on Larry King Live, but backed out saying she is sick. She had recently come out in the open saying that she is in love and that she is thinking of getting married to her boyfriend. Well, looks like she wasn’t just trying to get Eddie Murphy jealous, she actually meant it.
I read it, went green, became sick, steadied myself with caffeine and now I am giving it another shot. Paris Hilton and her mother have definitely got to be the most disgraceful entities in the history of mankind. They must be sent off on exile in different under developed countries and made to survive on their own. Her mother is upset that her princess got a couple of minute rashes sleeping over rough surface in prison.
Jessica Simpson’s doing a movie and she is behaving like a major pain in the ass at the sets. She is throwing her weight around so bad that the place is quaking up a total mess. People are tired of hearing her abuse left right and central and her attitude is creeping everyone out. You can’t blame her; that is what blonde, unsuccessful women do when they get a little bit of fame.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie has always been inspiration for the many young women who feel it their talents are best laid when they become the lay. In other words, these two are like the solid idols for porn stars and recent news has just confirmed the fact. A new porn movie is being made on the two women going to jail and the storyline includes graphic details of their intimacy with wardens, officers and inmates.
Oh, the stories never cease! Britney has done it again. It’s like she almost knew what she was talking about singing that song; like a sort of blonde nostradamus. A few days before divorcing her husband, she was seen seducing a video extra at her hotel poolside. The over excited tyke went about saying how she invited him over and then went topless and they ended up kissing.
Finally some good news! The movie version of the Sex and the City is planned to start shooting in a matter of weeks. Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed it saying that she didn’t want to say more about it but it is definitely coming. That’s excellent news! We don’t want big details as long as it’s actually going to bring us such immense joy and enlightment into our dull blonde infested lives.
With time, age and experience some celebrities learn to take fame in their stroll and learn tricks and games to keep a safe balance in accidental sightings. Like Beyonce Knwoles. She is forever ready for unexpected shots of hers by preparing herself with three pairs of sun glasses and two pairs of shoes. She says she loves going shopping and didn’t want to stop it for reasons of privacy.
When Nicole Richie was first declared pregnant, many raised an eyebrow over concerns of how she could manage a life in that bag-of-bones body of hers. Seems she had a major bleeding spree recently and was very worried that she may have had a miscarriage. On rushing to the hospital, doctor pointed out the obvious and asked her to start eating food.
Britney Spears has finally got reason to start looking at life more seriously. But that is still very unlikely. Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has come about making a good move finally to keep their children safe. He has applied for a full custody of the two kids; especially after seeing pictures of his wife semi nude, making out with a young extra at a pool side.
This is a real sad story. About Lindsay Lohan. She may go about making a fool of herself – getting drunk and being merry all the time. But the girl has a lot inside her – a miserable childhood that she isn’t very nostalgic about. Her ex-body guard Tony Almeida has explained that the reason to her acting this way was her horrible childhood and her crazy parents.
According to a reviewer -- Lenovo ThinkPad X61s notebook “is a road warrior's dream comes true.” Thinkpad X61s is the thinnest and lightest notebook offered by Lenovo -- sporting a 12.1” display screen – with a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 -- it is really diminutive. This stylishly attractive notebook is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo L7500, which offers two CPU cores running at 1.60GHz -- and uses the new Intel Santa Rosa Chipset -- which ups the front side bus speed to 800MHz -- and offers dynamic FSB down-clocking to increase battery life.
The Sex and the City has decided on its movie plans and it is finally going to start rolling; especially with Mr Big also signing his participation. Now, all we need to do is sit back and hope to see the movie release at least in the next couple of years. So much fun! The serial has been a huge hit especially with women who are single and successful at their careers.
Russell Crowe may be considered as the possible villain for the new Star Trek movie which is under construction. The form hasn’t been decided yet – whether it will be human or alien. As a matter of fact, neither has the role been confirmed – if he is or he isn’t going to do it. The new movie seems to be collecting up a lot of new and fresh faces for the legendary space trip; with experience, wouldn’t it be a waste of time and energy at making a major flop?
Americans are an extremely odd bunch. They somehow seem to have a weird thing for strange people to rule their country. We would have thought that they differentiated between stardom and politics, but seems like otherwise. Angelina Jolie has been approached to try for president-ship but she says she doesn’t want all the major power and importance. She says that, as it is, she has a lot to manage – a film career, a litter of kids and a husband who needs to be under constant surveillance.
For the past couple of days, we had too many Sony news, so for a change – I looked for news from the competitors’ stable. Olympus, in March -- on PMA show -- had introduced us to some samples and shots of DSLR body E-P1 camera without any specifications detail or its launch date. The latest news comes from a document that has been (with good intentions) leaked. It will feature a10Mpix optical sensor, improved viewfinder, it will be sealed against dust and bad weather conditions, and equipped with wireless flash controller and improved auto-focus system.

Sony’s Full-Circle 360° Digi-Camera
Sony’s designer, Hye-Jeong Yang, is working on a new digital camera design -- which is slated to change the way we capture images. The news from the Sony’s stable is its panoramic digital cameras will capture images -- a full 360 degree -- at one go. Yes, you read it right -- you can capture the full 360 degree surroundings of the camera with a small single convex lens -- in one click (no multiple shots required) -- and the image is saved in a memory card.

Luxeed’s [Colorful] LED Keyboard
I had often wished that my drab keyboard sported a funky look or a kind person sprayed some colors on it. It seems the Korean company -- Luxeed -- has answered my wishes. They have designed a keyboard that has color changing LED under each key. The colorful keyboard produces seizure-inducing display of blinking colors and comes with software -- which lets you change the pattern of colors and how you want it displayed, according to your mood.
It seems Koreans are hell bent on making Keyboards vibrant. If I thought colorful keyboard was a perfect solution for me, here comes another by Celluon of Korea -- “CL850-Virtual Laser Keyboard” -- to spoil me with too many choices. CL850 is a portable input device (a little bigger than iPod Nano), which uses Celluon’s sensor module that recognizes locations and movements of fingers and transmits the inputs recognized by the sensor to your device.
“Zink “the digital-camera -- brings back good old Polaroid memories. It is a zero-ink camera cum printer combination that uses dye crystals and polymer overcoat papers to produce pictures instantly just the way Polaroid did in the old days. But, with improved technology it has more features -- the biggest plus point is – it lets you choose the pictures that you want to print.
I am not a big batman fan, so no wonder -- I was not too delighted to see “Batmobile Computer Mod”. Though I hear good words for it and it is considered one of the most striking computer mods. Batman’s remote controlled car has been converted into an AMD Sempron 2800+ with 40 gig HD, 736 megs of DDR 400 ram, and CD/DVD – Computer Mod.
Melanie Brown is facing the grunt of media and its hunger for news out of the air by forcing her to defend her lawsuit against Eddie Murphy – the father of their four month old daughter Iris. She says she didn’t want to make this a huge public affair but since it is being dragged anyway, she wanted this to be a lesson for single mothers who may face the same problem and how they can deal with it.
Ed Harris did not have many fans at the Heathrow airport, that’s for sure. He was recently checked to see his belongings at the airport, what with all the bombs, riots and killings. He felt humiliated that officials questioned his character and doubted he may be carrying something of immense threat; which he actually was carrying – a box cutter.
This world has become such a scum zone that now perverted losers are targeting young children to grab more clientele. It seems that search engines are being tampered where by porn sites are popped up every time a kid selects a link to see pictures or listen to music of their favourite teen singer – Hannah Montana. The most pop-ups appear on typing something as innocent as her track number – ‘Life’s what you make it’.
It’s in vogue and why would major superstars stick behind? Ricky Martin is now going to adopt a child but he hasn’t yet mentioned which third world country he is going to choose from. Inspired by Angelina Jolie and Madonna, he also wants some attention from people who will brag about what a big heart he has. He wants to make a colourful breed and instead of a football team, he will stick with just a bunch of kids; one from each continent.
Such ugly competition can only occur in the media and entertainment business. One is always above the other and the faster running man gets a plot of air around him that he will try to impose on others. In other words, 50 Cents is showing how thoroughly confident he is at breaking Kanye West’s new album with his own coming out shortly. He has raised the stakes to his solo career.
After all the injustice she has done for her family, gone about town to show what a waste of life she is, after trying to be young and agile all of a sudden, she has stooped down to ground level to do something only she would be expected to do. Britney Spears wants to re-unite with Paris Hilton. What is with tinsel town? Everyone seems to suddenly show their gay side of life.
She has crossed all boundaries of freakiness and now I shall declare her a spooky lamp post that got lucky with the best blonde head of Hollywood. Angelina Jolie used to sleep with women. She stopped it because her husband, Brad Pitt, was allergic to watching gay couples make out and he started missing his boyfriends as they had made some undying pact to keep their vulgar pasts where it belonged and live a decent life with their football team.
Jennifer Lopez is after all not jobless. She still seems to be thriving strong in the music industry and her new release, expected out soon, is proof for it. She has already released her new track ‘Hold it, Don’t drop it’ in Europe and will be re-launching it in the States by the label – ‘Do it well’. The change in wordings is to show how the two major super powers play with words and what means kinkier in what country. Perhaps.
I read an interesting write-up in ‘International Herald Tribune’ – which states, “At least 20,000 police surveillance cameras are being installed along streets here in southern China and will soon be guided by sophisticated computer software to recognize automatically the faces of crime suspects and detect unusual activity.” Sounds great, I agree that times are quite difficult and one needs to do everything that helps in protecting one’s citizens -- even UK has something on the similar lines.
Watch out for the forthcoming IFA show 2007 – where Philips -- the electronic giant – plans to bowl you over with their new line of LED backlit television. The buzz is -- The successful Ambilight range of televisions from Philips has got a makeover -- and it has been coined as “Aurea”. Ambilight series has color-enhanced ambient backlighting while in Aurea -- along with backlighting -- LED illumination show around the border of the television screen, creating a soothing vibrant effect.
Doesn’t it look like a key chain -- even I thought the same -- but do not be mistaken -- it is “Ultra-slim Micro SD / T-Flash Card Reader”. It functions as a portable USB Pen Drive or card reader and is compatible with MicroSD/T-Flash and fully compliant with USB 2.0 specification. You can hook these readers to your cell phones, digi-cam, PDA, laptop, or MP3 players -- and read and write your files at a full (USB transfer rate up) 480 MPS rate.

Disney's Flix Camera
It is a small story about a camera -- called Flix -- it came from Disney’s toy world. It has a look of a frog and has lots of features. A cruel monster dissected it and told us -- Flix camera comes with Disney Director software, is packed with amazing storyboards, cool sound effects, character voices, and scintillating music, guaranteeing that you can cobble together movies of at least the same quality as the straight-to-video kind of Cinderella IV.

Rei Huggable - a designer LED Pillow
Yesterday, I wrote “color changing LED under each key” – a few hours back there was LED backlit television I was talking about and getting mesmerized -- now comes the designer “LED Cushion” -- "Rei Huggable". For some unknown strange reason -- I am being led towards LED. Rei Huggable -- as the name suggests -- is quite a huggable cushion filled with silicone bean bags containing high intensity LED lights. The result is bright glow because of the LED lights.

16 year old arrested for translating Harry Potter
The last part of Harry Potter had the world go so crazy in anticipation that one particular boy in France, aged 16, thought to put up a vague translation of the book so that a peer group not very familiar with any other language than French. Could read it. he was being the dedicated fan who came to help the needy at a time of crisis. Like Robin Hood hunting and robbing for the poor. But as in the story, this little kid was also traced, caught and imprisoned.
William Shatner is a funny man. Well, at least now he is. After having spent ages in space and fighting off stranger aliens than the ones he was living with, he has literally come down to earth and polished off his sense of humour. And what a job well done! Boston Legal is just a part of his extremely wonderful sense of comic. Anyway. He was recently entertaining a thrilled audience at the Star Trek convention all on the notes of him not being involved in the new project.
Keira Knightley was more of the cute and pretty woman until she took everyone’s hearts right off its rib cage in the movie – Pirates of the Caribbean. Since then, the lady is being looked upon as a woman; one with the basic statistics of someone who is drooled over. And this wonderful woman is chosen by Chanel to portray the subtle sexiness of their new fragrance by showing an almost bare-naked image of hers.
It is a well known fact how little of clothing men like on women and even on themselves. They always like to keep the air clear for some reason, and unlike women, they would like to live it off at all times if given a chance. Chris Evans has gone ahead to prove that he is one of that sort. It seems, he likes to roam around naked in his house (safe enough) and also, he doesn’t let that be a problem to get out and throw the garbage.
Melanie Brown must be having such a horrible pile of luck these days. With men that is. First the father of her child acts like a jerk and denies responsibilities, then she goes ahead and marries a strange fellow like Stephan Belafonte who apparently is a size bigger than Eddie Murphy (the jerk dad), and now – the guy is roaming the streets stray and killing ducks as a showcase of sanity.
And another spicey girl becomes a mother. Emma Bunton has given birth to a healthy, chirpy baby boy and as all celebrity moms; she has gone straight ahead and named him something so ridiculous, that if I were him, I would never have forgiven her for scarring my life like this. The new baby is named Beau. Meaning: beautiful in French. I bet he is, but isn’t it too early to deicide he is going to be gay?
Recently, XtremeNotebooks launched quad core “Xtreme 917V laptop”, if you are an ardent gamer, you would like to know about this notebook -- but starting at approximately $2,399, many of you might not like to possess it. The 917V laptop -- with Quad Core processor -- provides you the benefit of desktop workstation/server in a mobile format -- which you can carry anywhere.

They have designed a device, wind engine, which creates a cool wind made up of charged particles, or ions, to cool computer chips.

LowRider CLASSIC 256MB Portable Thumbdrive
If you have a ubiquitous and drab USB drive to sell -- you take inspiration from toy cars and design an enclosure accordingly. Dummberry’s “LowRider CLASSIC 256MB Portable Thumbdrive” is one such USB drive. It crams a kid’s toy car with a flash hardware inside, and then claims that it is handmade. When technology is all the same, packaging is all that matter but not many people get the design right and same is with LowRider CLASSIC 256MB Portable Thumbdrive.

Noise-Reducing PC Case - COSMOS
I, usually, work late in the night, and prefer a soundless room to complete my assignments -- however, my CPU (fan) likes to make sound. So, when I read that the Korean company -- Cooler Master has, recently, introduced its noise-reducing PC case “COSMOS” in the Korean Market -- I was quite delighted. However, why is everything --I wish for -- available only in the Korean Market -- may be next time we can dwell on that.

Just an expression but I was happy to see Gabriel and Schwan's lovely bags, which are especially created for a machine (notebook).

Exquisite Necklace with Hardwood USB Pendant
Jewelry is not just a piece of metal but it is also a part of our expression. It not only enhances our look but also creates a sense of personal bonding -- and an exquisitely designed necklace also creates a closer connection between a person and their data. Especially, when the wooden pendant -- USB flash drive -- is on a necklace and is crafted by Leung Studio, the result is magnificent and exquisite piece of computer jewelry. Am I confusing you -- talking about necklace and USB flash drive in the same breath. If you are confused, look at the picture a little carefully.
Music fans would beat a 105-degree heat wave to pay their tribute to their music legends. As was seen in Graceland to celebrate the thirtieth death anniversary of Elvis Presley. The heat was so bad it literally killed a 67 year old fan. May her soul rest in peace! Such is the love that the man has instilled in his fans. People from the world over do the craziest thing for the ones they love.
If someone said I had a chance of spending all I want in $5000, I may faint. So if they mention a $5 million limit, I may just die. Some people may have had the question asked to them over and over again and hence they learn to take it in their stride. Like Victoria Beckham. She has been given a limit of $5 million to shop at the Neiman Marcus shop in Beverley Hills.
If one does it, the rest has got to follow. That is what Hollywood is best at doing. Copying anything and everything they can lay their eyes on. There is nothing called originality left in this world! Heidi Klum is going topless for Jordache. Now that two have started a trend, wonder how many more are going to follow suit and before you know it, the world would have legally seen the entire showbiz ladies nude.
I have been telling you all for a while now and I repeat. Hollywood has gone crazy. Everyone’s giving birth and soon the industry is going to run short of anyone to work. It’s either pregnant women or else drunken women. Where are all the men? Halle Berry is pregnant now and this is her first child. She is quite old so for her, it’s about time to start a family if she ever wanted one.
Monkey man’s daughter’s getting married. Jenna Bush is engaged to her lover boy Henry Hager from Virginia. The couple got married and the man’s already got a list of stuff to finish before they are married. He has to first finish his education so that the father in law can gift him a country where his new wife and he can keep the parent happy by torturing the locals.
The entire Hollywood’s planning weddings, engagements and new births. Sexy vixen Salma Hayek is planning two of them – marriage and child birth. The sultry Hispanic is planning to tie it up with her multi billionaire fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault. As the name goes, he is one of Paris’ extremely affluent bachelors. So anyway, with all that money and a fresh competition on ‘Best Wedding Ever’ she is planning three different ceremonies.
The UK has chosen Orlando Bloom as the most eligible bachelor. And the only way that could have been a possibility is if the judge was gay and he had a fling with Bloom. I mean, even his name suggests what a pretty little girl he is! All the stubble in the world is not going to make a man out of him, not yet at least! He tops a list that decides the top men that British women prefer. There has GOT to be some fault in this.
Victoria is going to become fat. That’s right, she is going to have cellulite and she will have an excess of them. It will hang loose on her and she is doing all this on her own. For television that is. She is going to put a fat suit for a small role in Ugly Betty, sometime soon. Did you think she would get fat naturally? Don’t you realize whom we are talking about!? This is Victoria Beckham – the straight face, size -4, wife of a footballer.
Shilpa Shetty is being considered to be the next Bond girl. After the huge wave she caused in Big Brother, a survey was done showing a large number of fans following in the UK and the Indian sub continent. Maybe half the survey may be right. The Indian crowd cannot really stand her and doesn’t give much of a damn if she does a Bond feature or even ends up marrying Prince Williams.
Victoria Beckham is basking in the brilliance of their new LA home. Everything seems to have fit in perfectly and nothing is missing out either. A little more of finishing touches and it will be a home! They speak as though they had been living off the road in the UK. And this is like the first time they have four walls and a roof. Maybe not literally, but it sure seems like a big change.
Nicole Richie is turning a new leaf. With a baby coming and her wild partying ways tamed out with a four day jail sentence, the kitten has polished her claws. Now, she wants a marriage – a huge one, much bigger than anyone ever had (Tony and Eva’s to be precise); but only after giving birth to her child. She will also have the benefits of having a huge mansion as a gift from her dad, Lionel Richie for the wedding to take place.
Tom Cruise and his current family have been making such huge waves of popularity recently. All thanks to the cute little princess – Suri Cruise. The couple does not have to worry about clicking pictures because the media does it and what a collection. This tiny wonder has captured so many hearts along with it the hearts of Baby Gap promoters who are wishing to use Suri for the face of its new range of clothing.
Sony's Style bag -- designed by Mandarina Duck -- pale in comparison to Gabriel and Schwan bags. But, it surely has its own unique charm. If you are a working woman, full of attitude and grace, are busy attending board and official meetings, then you might love to possess it. Though there is a slight problem, the bag is designed to match the Vaio C series laptops.
The Panasonic -- “Lumix FX55” – 8.M compact digi-cam comes with face detection AF function. Face Detection AF technology detects and adjusts focus to a face identified in the picture plane. Other specifications are -- ISO 6400 sensitivity, Auto Power LCD mode, it has 27MB built-in memory, and it supports MMC and SD/SDHC memory card.
Wish for it and you have it, please all those funky and classy bags make way for this retro beauty. Sheba laptop bag -- sporting my granny era look -- has a vintage feel about it; the bag’s exterior has cute looking magazine pictures of beauties, from 40s and 50s. This Mobile Edge designed “MP-CSB01 Cutebug Sheba Notebook Bag” comes with excellent padding that makes sure that the notebook is safe and secure in its cocoon.
Satellite L40 is the latest notebook from Toshiba. It isn’t too pricey but also does not have anything special about it. The company is projecting it as a notebook -- containing necessary functions -- available at a moderate price. It runs on an Intel Celeron M440 1.86Ghz CPU and has DDR2 667Mhz 512MB memory, and is equipped with S-ATA 80GB HDD, DVD Combo optical drive and 6-cell battery.
Please, not another USB drive, and it does not even has the look. But, at times first impression can be all wrong; this USB drive is special -- if you want to protect your top secret data, when it falls into wrong hands.
Bright red or is it orange red, never mind -- but this digi-cam sports quite a bright look -- not one of the best but it surely can be nominated for the ugly-fugly competition. There is no pun intended, though if one ignores the outer appearance and looks deep inside its frame, one can surely find something good to talk about.
The ultra-portable -- 7 inch -- ASUS's Eee PC is all set to embark on its American voyage, however with a slight change in the plan. The PC is going to cost, Americans, a little extra. For American market -- while one can buy it for $199 in other countries -- the company has put a price tag of $269 to $399. According to the company -- the change in price is due to the longer-battery life -- American versions are equipped with four-cell battery pack capable of four hours of runtime.

Lavie G Hello Kitty Laptops-The Designer Story
I wrote -- Lavie G Hello Kitty laptops, and after that I kept thinking -- what do I write about it. It has a grand look, almost a piece of art and is priceless … and what more. I am not quite fond of such expensive art on top of notebook -- it not only makes one very careful while using it, but also the product becomes a teaser -- which not many can afford. However, the designer gets my admiration and a round of applause for the design.
There is a pink revolution and as much as I am proud of my sexual orientation, the thought frightens me. Everywhere you look it is the colour pink. It has also slowly crept into technology and gadgets are also going to be women-based. Pionstep in Korea launched its new Stereo blue-tooth set and the colour is pastel pink.
The super mega sexy i-phone is getting its speakers from Logic3, it was announced. The i-station Traveller is claimed to be the super phone's first speakers and has the following properties: it measures 170mm across, has a 4 watt output and 35mm neodymium drivers. The phone is going to be a revolution of sorts and nothing is going to stop this from becoming the next generation wonder.
A very typical term but in a new language – Aloha was launched in the States. A new collaboration by Virgin Mobile service with LG phone sets. The phone has all your daily requisites and some more with extra games to kill time in heavy traffic like ZooZoo Club and Battle Reversi. It is a flip open model with a metallic finish and has a 65k colour screen.
Jennifer Lopez has a huge ass, and she also has a huge problem with cellulite apparently. It's quite clear what the videos have been doing all this time. They have been covering her fat up so that she could be envied upon by millions. For strange reasons though, the woman is pretty oblivious to the fact that she has something as shocking as this with her kind of fame and popularity.
Remember a few days back when rapper 50 Cents went about saying he would put up his papers if his opponent Kanye West sold more copies? Well, guess what? He chickened out and now he has realized that he cannot go about braying stuff like that because that was no simple issue. His personal team of supporters might have had gone wild hearing this and threatened him with ugly stories of defamation and poverty for the idiot to take back his words.
Lindsay Lohan and her family are just having some of the worst luck ever. After their daughter was sent to a rehab a third time, now they have decided its time to get divorced after splitting up two years back. The family is just wretched. Nothing more can be done to save them, except separation. Better off I would say. They screwed up the poor kid's life and now they are all paying for it.
Britney Spears is the worst mother in Hollywood. She is pathetic and someone is definitely going to soon throw some heavy damage her side. I would support it. Like maybe rampage her new album or pull off all her black wig or maybe even throw her in a dungeon of sorts with women who murdered their husbands over ill treating their kids. Ok, you get the point! Just get the waste ridden for life!
Mary-Kate Olsen is going to be kissing Ben Kingsley in a new movie. The age difference doesn't become an issue when it is a winning script at stake. The kid plays a seductive angel sometime in the movie who flies by and kisses Ben and that's it. They don't see each other in the movie again. Hollywood is a land of the weird, so even if something does sprout between the two, what's the big deal?
Lenovo Power Rangers Mystic Force Limited Edition 3000 H series
I will not be surprised, if one day, I see a toddler using a palm top in his cradle. These days, kids are getting smarter and want the best. For PC makers, children are one of the biggest prospective customers -- and it is a tough target group -- pleasing a kid is not an easy task. Lenovo -- in collaboration with Disney -- has introduced “Power Rangers Mystic Force limited edition 3000 H series” -- especially to attract tiny tots and build brand loyalty.
At times, I can hear my fingers scream, “give us a break, we are only your fingers and no genies to keep typing and navigating.” I am not making it up, when I tell you that my fingers informed me about this digital pencil -- the stylus with silicone rubber touch pad. It is made from a super special space age silicone material, which mimics the electrical resistance and supplely of a human finger.
Canon EOS 40D - Specifications from Amazon's Blooper Page
All thanks to Amazon’s pre-order page, a sharp camera enthusiast had a peek into the highly anticipated Cannon -- "Canon EOS 40D" -- camera’s specifications -- before its schedule launch on September 20th. I am not too sure if it is a blooper or an innocent leak, but because of it the blog world is hot with buzz about Canon EOS 40D camera.
Sony’s chic cameras -- for party chicas and chicos -- Cyber-shot DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 have added significant upgrades. The information about the upgrade – though not yet officially announced by Sony -- comes from SonyStyle Canada website.
Before you people jump to any conclusion, let me assure you that -- I am not pushing the cute looking teddy bear into a slaughter machine. This Teddy bear is a USB drive. Cute isn’t it, carrying a teddy, which acts like a drive. However, in reality -- it can be quite a repelling scene -- as seen in the image -- when its head is ripped off and the drive is attached to the laptop/PC, exposing teddy’s butt.
This has got to be some crazy coincidence. All the women in Hollywood have gone out of their wits. If you stop to observe, you will see how most of the trouble makers are short, blonde and really young. Like Hilary. It seems she has got major issues while driving and she has so far managed to scare her friends and relatives off by showing how rash she is. Let’s hope she doesn’t prove her point on the roads!
If you thought only technology and celebrities climbed the charts, you thought wrong. There is this special brand of shoes designed by Marte den Hollander called the Footloose which will allow you to adjust your shoes. The specialty is that you can adjust your heel to your choice of height by either keeping it high or else bending it out to keep a lower height.
Now here is one woman who has made some excellent observations. She has come out to say that the young girls these days, the crazy drunken blondes are an effect of bad parenting. They behave in this retarded ways because they have had a horrible childhood; especially with mothers who gives a damn. The only point of worry is that it was said by ex-semi porn actress, Brooke Shields.
Some has it all and some has some more of it all. Like Beyonce Knowles. She is one woman most women will envy. She already had everything she would ever need and along with it she has got an added feature of getting free clothes from Emporio Armani. Unlimited range. She could wear a new outfit each day for the rest of her life and maybe even save some more for posterity to wear a different dress each day. Such is the effect of being the hottest star in the world.
She may be richer than the Queen of England but that wasn’t going to make her sit back and drink chamomile with her retirement fund. Her Harry Potter and the gang has become a household name in the entire world and now she is planning to do an Agatha Christie with a Hercule Poirot by writing a detective story. Thus narrated J K Rowling’s author neighbour, who has been spying on her.
There are actually people who wait around to catch a glimpse of Paris Hilton. No matter how stupid, silly and extremely dramatic she is, people still like to get to touch her, see her and smell her when she is in their vicinity. That explains the mad rush recently when she was in LA to open her new clothing range at Kitson boutique – well known joint for out-of-work celebrities to try their hand at apparels.
Avril Lavigne’s a nice singer and her music is good too. It’s a personal opinion and there are quite some who would agree. Most of her songs are great and original so if one particular song may resemble one from an old number by another brand, it is no crime. It happens, really. You tend to create the kind of magic that you grow up with. You reflect the skills of a source that were shadowed under.
David Beckham has an excellent body. He is like the epitome of male sexuality that doesn’t halter to make women drool unconsciously. And he helps the women-lot out even more by stripping into action while playing football. Now you know why there has been a sudden surge in female football fans. It’s not to see a pile of men kicking around one ball! It is to see them get aggressive and strip off in fury. It’s a site, that one.
AMD, recently, introduced -- the dual core desktop PC processor -- “Athlon 64 X2 6400+Black Edition”. It comes with an integrated 128-bit dual-channel memory controller and a dedicated 2MB L2 cache.

Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III
Canon EOS 40D is still under wraps and if all is well you will get to hear more about it (as if you already did not know everything) in September. Rather than idling, we thought of snooping around a bit, in blogosphere, to bring you more Canon fodder. We came across news on “Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III”. The recently introduced model -- priced at $7999 -- is owners pride and friends/competitors envy

Toshiba's Satellite X200
The latest in the Satellite series is Satellite X200. A fortnight back, I had talked about the modestly priced Satellite L40, which according to me was quite basic. The latest Satellite has been made keeping in mind the gamers. The latest Toshiba offering has the nVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT graphics processing unit on board, which has been designed to deliver high-end 3D graphics that are compatible with modern gaming.

Canon's PowerShot G9
I agree that I am deluging you with Canon fodders, but what to do when the company is on a product introduction and announcement spree. Now what this camera has that PowerShot A720 IS and PowerShot A650 IS do not have. Like A650 IS it offers resolution of 12.1 Megapixel and also a 6x optical zoom lens. But, unlike the rudimentary -- A720A IS and A650 IS -- models, the “PowerShot G9” is packed with many advanced features.

Trump wants to save blondes
He is trying to do what the rest of the world couldn’t. Try to improve the blonde-trio: Paris, Lindsay and Britney by taking them into his show; The Apprentice. He wants them to improve their ways because he feels they are in a f***ing mess. Yeah, he repeated that twice. Only Paris seems to be really keen. He wants to rope in the other two and is working on it. You must be wondering who – the billionaire with a lot of free time and money to throw away – Donald Trump.
Indian actresses are crossing seas to find their niche in Hollywood. Aishwarya Rai is now part of the Steve Martin detective story – Pink Panther. The first one had a mega bombshell, Beyonce and this one has Aishwarya as the star item (?). Well, her married life seems to be a pleasing one and she is very happy with her new toy – her husband of course who doesn’t seem to have anything better to do but hang around watching his wife scintillates the Western crowd.
It’s a fact that opposites attract. So when we hear of things like a comedian and computer geek gets cozy, we don’t shift much with alert. The story here is about stand-up comedian Kathy Griffin and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak are now dating. That’s an odd pair for Hollywood but why argue. He has got the billions, the brains and she has got the looks and the funny bone – together they can make super sonic geeky hot humourous offsprings. The kind of species that only a sci-fi movie or book contained.
News is that Lindsay Lohan is ready to sing again. So who stopped her in the beginning? Probably concerned social-activists, who had issues with human bray noises. Well anyway, instead of sitting and making plans of getting back to showbiz, she should do something constructive in her rehab room – like maybe read a book, get some sleep or maybe even just shut up.
After Kevin Richardson became a father recently, its time for another Backstreet Boy, Howie D, to jump out of shadows with news of his engagement with his long time girlfriend, Leigh Boniello. He proposed to her in front of a family gathering on New Years Eve last year. He got this nice ring with three diamonds on a platinum base which he designed himself. So, anyway they are planning a wedding shortly and are preparing for it.
Taiwanese electronic Corporation -- Misumi -- recently introduced the smallest camera (as claimed by it) -- MO-R803. Solid Alliance USB RC Car
What more can you ask for, buy a remote controlled mini car and get a garage with it. I have not turned into a toy expert, but telling you about Japan's Solid Alliance "USB RC Car”. The whole concept looks quite funny to me -- but a little original if you take the car out and keep the garage. The garage is kind of charging hub -- so when the car is inside the garage, it is on a charging drip -- and it also works as a wireless transmitter.

Apple G3 Beer Server
Most of the mods, like the Batman one, are plain stupid -- though at times there is something quite appealing amidst all the cranky creations -- like this Apple G3 Beer Server. The creator has given a new life to the outdated Apple G3 Server. Though, I am not sure if the beer serving case can run an OS or any other program. Doesn't matter, isn’t it, when there is plenty of beer who thinks of operating systems.
We all want to decorate our desk with flowers to brighten our work place or room, but artificial flowers look fake and natural ones wilt soon. DreamCheeky has introduced a perfect solution for us -- USB powered “Mini Greenhouse”. This oval shaped Mini Greenhouse is like an aquarium (in concept) -- where you can grow your plants. The company provides you with marigold seeds, artificial soil and software to monitor your plants growth.
Anything with a wooden touch, appeals to my aesthetic sense. And this Suissa company’s Shadow Hard Drive may not be the best design but I still like it. The neatly crafted wooden 750GB external hard drive has four USB ports and compatible with any computer.
Recently, Canon added two new ultra compact cameras to its ELPH series -- SD950 IS and SD870 IS. Both the beauties have the right curves -- to please your aesthetic taste -- and are also loaded with advanced features, to excite photo enthusiasts. The 2.5inch LCD camera, SD950 IS, has 12.1 mega-pixel, and 3 inch LCD, SD870 IS, is an 8 mega-pixel camera.
Any technology with a label saying, “I am Eco-friendly”, immediately gets our respect and admiration. When most tech companies are bending rules, to gain a bit extra profit -- it comes as a pleasant surprise to read that Toshiba notebooks are getting, highly, positive marks from the Green Electronics Council.

Free Hogwarts entry for muggles
Gadgets are a wonderful piece of inventories that help us creatively kill time. Not only are they out of the box and creative, they are also interesting and exciting. Like for instance this new gadget called the Talking Sorting Hat. It is from Harry Potter – the talking hat that decides which house you belong to.
Janet Jackson is married to long time boyfriend (what does this precisely mean?) Jermaine Dupri. They made the affair a private one. It could be because they couldn’t afford a huge wedding and didn’t want to look cheap on screen what with major weddings having taken place and some being planned and all.
Melanie Brown is a little strange. Or else, maybe the world is a strange place for people like the scary spice. Days after her current psychopath husband was pointed fingers and called a psychopath, she has come up front to defend him saying he hasn’t done anything too harmful and he has definitely not hit a woman before.
Wedding bells everywhere – here, there, everywhere! After all of Hollywood woke up to feeling lonely and catching any lonesome figure to tie the knot with, the epidemic is catching on to the rest of the world. Like England for instance. Both the eligible not-single princes – Prince Harry and Williams are thinking of making it firm with their current lady loves.
Guy Ritchie was playing with his gamekeeper at his home in UK someday and he twisted the latter’s arm so bad, he got hurt and then quit his job. He felt bad that Ritchie didn’t apologize to him so packed his bags and left the huge mansion. He was fed up of sitting around and getting beaten up by the director while his wife, Madonna, went hunting for kids in the third world countries.
As is mentioned here, this cannot be real. No man would play this kind of joke on a woman with a well deserved reputation. Singer Adam Levine has stood up sore over how disappointing his ex-fling, Maria Sharapova, is in bed. He has been telling the media hunters about how she never made noises and how it made him spooky; especially when she seemed to want a completely silent session during intercourse.
Keira Knightley may have had some brilliant roles come her way recently, but for some reason, she seems very distant from the kind of characters that she portrays. She believes that children should not be so much in awe of celebrities and fashion magazines, because that is not what they are. They are completely different human beings and all the glitz and glamour was only misleading the youth.
Now here is something that is going to give you a definite hangover the next morning. And many more mornings after that until your brain goes numb and it ceases to function. A new pillow’s launched called the Mi Pillow where you have speakers on a pillow. You can connect any of your music devices like and ipod or mp3 player or CD player to it and listen to music while you sleep.
“It is all about style”, said my friend. “Who cares what is inside it, as long as it is full of oomph.” May be she will like this new Samsung R20 (K006) Laptop -- designed for the fashion conscious notebook users. The specifications conscious can go for a walk. The 14.1-inch widescreen display notebook -- with reflective coating -- is equipped with Intel T2130 (1.86GHz) processor.

According to the company it is going to “revolutionize photography for professionals.” I bet even Canon claims the same with every product announcement. Nikon also states, “D3 is the world’s fastest digital SLR camera in its class.” Now that is something to take seriously.

Britney must be put into a dungeon
All the blonde chics are improving their ways of life and getting serious about a decent existence, but one individual refuses to grow up or change her wormy behaviour. Britney Spears was seen driving around with both her children on the backseat of her car for two hours non-stop. This is her way of releasing tensions, apparently.
Sony has launched a new function for its PSP – a GPS. The game masters will have the satellite navigational accessory with its game console and so now there is no worry about walking into the woods and losing your way while playing a game. The company is only giving reason for people to have a way with their games as well as their location.
Recently Lindsay Lohan said that once out of rehab she was seriously going to consider her career, she wasn’t kidding. As part of her rehab stint, she will be working at a local supermarket in Utah and her earnings will all go to charity. Well, this woman is going to start from the scratch and she will have the media as company all the way to her fame and success in the future.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but stardom is attained in minutes. Rihanna is a pretty decent singer for her range, but the chic is extremely ambitious. She claims to be unsatisfied with whatever she has and she wants more and more and more. So with her song Umbrella, she not only tried to make a mega hit, she also launched a range of, er, umbrellas.
When you are a drop dead gorgeous fellow, you tend to have more stalkers than fans. David Beckham was recently stalked by a chic right into his bedroom and his vicious wife threw a fit. It’s understandable. Seems the woman she knew David and walked in to make a scene. People got mighty concerned when they saw her fiery eyes flash seductively at David and he was, as usual, numb with fright.
The law in Tinsel land is going crazy. They are basking in their sudden surge to importance and are booking in all the hot, blonde women of Hollywood. After Paris and Nicole, now they are going to keep Lindsay in jail too. She’s just got one day though. Apart from the rehab stint she’s doing, she was ‘sentenced’ to one whole day in jail.
When you are really thin – anemic, and you look as innocent as the Puss in boots, and you have a famous father AND you are pregnant; you may have some unexpected concern. Nicole Richie was sentenced to do four days in jail but she got out in 82 hours. Why? Because she clean bowled everyone at the prison with her extremely cooperative behaviour. Right!
Jealousy is one of the seven sins. Avril Lavigne had made a decent reputation and position in the music industry but little had she known that there greedy, spotlight mongers waiting to pounce at her in the shadows. First, she was blamed for coping one of Rubinoos’ songs and now, her friend and once upon a time, advisor, Chantal Kreviazuk has accused her of plagiarism.
Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck -- two of the most loved cartoon characters -- are all set to be part of your tech world. Tucano has launched “Disney Second Skin Folders” -- the protective cases for PC, notebooks and MacBooks.
Superstars get robbed in the daylight under all the protection that they can collect. It is inevitable that wherever the riches lie the robbers reach. For Kirsten Dunst, her plumber was the subject at question. He went in to repair her loo and left with money and a $13,000 handbag. She had gone out for the shooting of a movie (‘How to lose friends and alienate them’ – she must give a copy to the thief) and on her return witnessed the misses.
When two singers of pomp and prominence have a feud, the reasons are apparent. Jealousy. One wanting to climb higher over the other’s success. Rihanna and Beyonce have been having a cold war for a while, according to sources but it seems the former has absolutely no issues over the latter. In fact, Rihanna loves Beyonce very very much! She said it so herself.
Matt Damon’s 14 month old baby, Isabella is a cute, adorable little princess who is responsible for Matt’s screwed back. With all the feeding and milking (let’s only pray it is the bottle they refer to) and patting to sleep, Matt’s back went for a toss. And because of this little issue, he couldn’t go for the after-party of his movie – Bourne Ultimatum’s Berlin preview.
Lindsay has got to have the worst and most crazy pair of parents in Hollywood. First they use and toss their daughter about as a child artist and squeeze out every money making resource from her, then they go ahead screwing their lives up and scarring Lindsay’s life so badly that the girl would have seen more controversies than movie offers.
Pete Doherty is so funny. He looks funny, he behaves funny and his ridiculously amazing life is funny. He looks like Droopy from the seven Dwarves. A thinner version maybe. ok, that’s not the story. Everyone knows that he has enough dope in him that can actually get drug-crazy mafia lords to squeeze it literally off him; well now, his little kitten’s got some too.
Now if you want to hug a friend who stays three continents away, you can. No, not by taking a ticket, cursing the airlines, getting jet lag and losing your passport midway; but by sitting rooted on your fat bottom and sending a message to the friend. What you both will need is a Hug Shirt. Yeah, amusement is inevitable, but there is something like this.
That’s it! Now all you aspiring whore get up and get going, cos nothing can ever ever ever hurt you. Introducing you to the wonderful piece of technology, the mega brains of super duper horny nerds – the GPS safety shoe for Prostitutes. Now nothing on this planet can stop you from following your dreams and become the best lay in town.
Are you preparing for an exam and you just cannot seem to keep awake? Buy the Wake-up Angel alarm that you can clasp on an ear and stay awake forever. You don’t have to ever worry about dozing off anywhere! You can keep it in your ear while at an extremely boring play, or a meeting, or your mother-in-law’s poem recitals or your nephew’s puberty symptoms.
Another day, another trio cameras introduced and this time it is from Olympus. It is their latest addition to the FE Product line -- the FE-300, FE-280 and FE-290 cameras. The highly compact and slim cameras are easy to use and packed with powerful features, though I do not see anything extraordinary.
There is more news from the Olympus stable -- it is about their ultra 18x zoom lens (with 27 mm wide angle) 8 mega-pixel camera -- “SP-560 UZ”. It comes with all the advance technology, like Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment, TruePic III™ Image Processor (for better and sharper images), Perfect Shot Preview, and also incorporates Dual Image Stabilisation -- the double guard against blur caused by camera shake.

Scott McCausland is not a happy man -- even you won’t be if you were in his shoes. Dell needs to pull up their socks, before everything blows up, including their impeccable reputation. This is the ninth time that Dell’s laptop batteries exploded into flames and its latest victim a computer network administrator, Douglas Brown, landed in a hospital in Ohio. Suffering from Flaming Laptop Syndrome, Dell's laptops have already burned down a house, set fire to a pickup truck, which not only destroyed the truck but also set off box of ammunition, kept in the gloves department, and there have been other similar cases.

Hunt for a new Harry Potter
With the mega super duper kick-ass hit of the Harry Potter books and the horribly doing movie; the London theatre artists feel this is the perfect subject of choice to bring back some colour into their grey lives. They are planning on making a musical by super zipping the seven books and giving preference to Voldemort and Quidditch scenes.
Such a cute, blonde fellow who has made our hearts dance in joy while watching him on screens; why would such a saintly human being want to kill himself? Well, he tried to. Owen Wilson was taken to the hospital after a relative found him with his wrists cut and blood all over. No reason was given as to why such a horrid thing happened to him, everyone is still in shock.
Forbes has listed Cameron Diaz and George Clooney as the top most eligible personalities of Hollywood. Cameron because she is blonde and has a lot of money that she is not smart enough to manage on her own and Clooney because he is the only actor who has won the major awards of television and cinema as well as the one who has his face chiseled out perfectly at this age AND owns an Italian mansion.
The Beckhams have lost two nannies in a short span of one week. The problem is Victoria and her mother Jackie. They have been ordering around the nannies so much that they started treating the poor souls as servants at the beck-n-call more than just a nanny. So now Posh has to do all the dirty work and that may even include lifting an arm!
Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea went ahead doing some stunt to show off to his friend on how cool he is, being the son of such a famous wrestler and all – only to end up over speeding and having his Toyota Supra topple over and injure him, critically injuring his friend. He was sent back home; but his friend seems to still be in a bad shape.
Sienna Miller is fed up of people thinking that she is some kind of a whore. Just because she is seen with a different man every other time, doesn’t mean she’s been sleeping around with them. It’s innocent friendship. Like the latest one – Rhys Ifans. He just goes over to her place and crashes on her couch, because he apparently has his home infested with reptiles that don’t bite, but spook you out with stares.
For all the lovely pink girls and ladies and gays out there; here’s a brilliant new concept by Hello Kitty. A cell phone Hello Kitty charger. The pink little kitty will amuse you when it glows pink once the charging is done. If you are lucky, the kitty will also start amusing you will little kitty tricks like rolling over, playing catch and all those other things that pets normally do.
This man is the perfect example of a scumbag-turned-music mafia-turning back to scumbag. He has good talents, lots of fame, money, women etc but he behaves like God is obliged by his presence in His creations. 50 Cents behaves as cheap as his name suggests. First he went about insulting a fellow artist and now he thinks he is God. Well, his mother actually.
Princess Diana is a legend on her own rights. She got involved with the most controversially suppressed monarch and now she is dead. Such a pretty face and such a wonderful grace. As is typical of media mongers to literally drain out all sources from a famed individual, after ten years of her death, she is claimed to probably be one of the top brand for business. First they kill her and then they make money out of her.
Super models are already sickeningly thin and anemic. With that, if they go on green leaves and hot water diet, imagine what they would end up being! Well, apparently, depressed over her freak boyfriend, Pete Doherty splitting up with her and two major advertisement projects slipping away, she has vowed to hit the grave in bones and not feed any tiny microorganisms with human fat. In other words, she has stopped living completely.
You might have to wait a little longer for “Dell Inspiron Notebooks.” The much talked about vibrant colors, on the notebooks, are the main reason behind this shipping delay. The premium colors used in Inspiron notebooks are making things complex and it is taking more time to give the perfect finish. The other reason is the short supply of some screen sizes.

There is some great news for Ham Radio operators working in Sardinia Island. They can now keep in touch with their people in Italian peninsula, all thanks to a new world record. The record was created when a 5 GHz Wi-Fi link achieved a distance of 304km (188.89 miles) across land and sea. Unaffordable Palladium Body 2 GB Flash Drive
What happens to flash drives when they come out from the S.T Dupont stable, made of solid Palladium and its surface sporting a diamond-head pattern. They are great to look at, designers love them, but with a price tag of $700 most people keep away from it. The 2 GB flash drive from S.T Dupont is one such hard drive, which is chic but with a tag -- you cannot afford me.

Jessica Alba is sexy from all angles
Bored mathematicians found out a ratio of sexiness. A bunch of geeky mathematicians was witnessed to some porn and they must have suddenly wondered at God’s fairer creations. So they got their silly heads together and found out a ratio that will determine how sexy a woman is. Now, honestly, is it wrong to call these people freaks?
RIP’s researchers have designed a battery that looks like a piece of paper. This prototype square, paper-thin, battery will be the source of power for electronics and other devices. Interesting isn’t it, and to top the look of a paper, it will be printed like a newspaper. The battery is kind of an integrated device, which is a battery but can also be rolled and twisted and used inside your iPods, cell phones and any other devices.
Jennifer Aniston has had a horrible luck with men. Maybe that because she seems to be hell bent over dating someone from the industry. Doesn’t she know how ugly the world within is? They will rip her heart away and walk into the arms of the hottest star in the town. Like her ex-husband, Brad Pitt did. But, she is not one to give up too quickly; now she is dating a guy named Bradley Cooper.
Britney scum Spears has reason to celebrate. She is now cleared of all charges against animal torture. But she must not try and get a smile on her flat, lifeless face. She is going to have a mega ride of her life when she appears in court to face charges against her motherhood. The real reason that should be bothering this waste, but who seems too oblivious of her surroundings.
Television always seems to give preference to women and their life stories. Be it Sex and the City or Desperate housewives or … well, there should be more; find it out yourself. Anyway, the news is, there is this new series on the cards called Cashmere Mafia which will start airing in December this year. It's about four female executives with the typical favours of attraction like sex appeal, intelligence, humorous, nosey, annoying, etc. The main attraction, though, will be Lucy Liu.
As curious as we fans are about Owen Wilson's attempt to suicide (probably), we have to respect his plea to be left alone ATLEAST when he trying to get better. The media are crazy people. It is one thing to get the news, but it's a whole different thing to sneak onto and stalk a celebrity for some extra words. Where is the respect of privacy here? Poor Owe, first the love of his life dumps him, and now the media wants to slowly and painfully kill him.
The next time you go out dining at your local diner, count your stars and hope some famous singer comes along. Jessica Simpson was at one such situation recently for the shooting of her new movie when she suddenly got up and started to sing along. The restaurant manager was so amused he has given her a special seat. Like if she didn't sing, the guy wouldn't have given her his back to rub to climb on. The songs included tunes like Desperado and Midnight Train to Georgia.
Remember the drop and drop and still it won’t mind, “Olympus Stylus 790SW camera”. I am not sure if I missed the whole name or they just added the Tough Lite part to it now. Anyways, whatever might be the case; the important information is that the Tough Lite 790SW has a twin -- called "Tough Stylus 795SW". Like its twin, 795SW is also a total toughie and a game for any adventure.

Sugar Powered Battery
I am kind of amused by the amazing battery revolution. If I thought paper battery design is a grand one, then this one beats it pulp and uses that sweet pulp to run batteries. Sony Japan has designed bioelectric batteries, which run on sugar. Pour your favorite juice or glucose rich drink, and connect it to your 4-cell Walkman speaker, and enjoy the music.

Mouse of Air
Only the other day, I was trying to use my mouse by circling it in the air. I had a good wrist exercise but sadly no navigation. So, I was kind of elated when I read about this Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Mouse. This mouse combines your remote control device qualities along with precision, cursor control and the thought that a computer mouse needs hard surface to perform.
There is no month like September, and remember the Sept Camera feast, I have been talking about. The new entrant to join the September bandwagon is "Ricoh’s Caplio R7". This successor to Caplio R6, is a highly compact camera and sports a highly slim body only 20.6 mm at its thinnest point. The camera features 8.15 mega-pixels CCD and 7.1 x optical wide zoom lens.
In a frantic effort to salvage its sinking electronics sales, Sony introduced a new series of flat screen televisions, Bravia line. At one go, the company has launched 15 new models, and one of them is the world’s largest LCD T.V sporting a 70-inch screen. These new models are 40 percent thinner than the previous ones, and range in size from 40-inches to 70.
Choices have to be made, all the time, even at the time of saving your files in a USB Flash drive. But, if you get an 8 GB model, I guess there is nothing to choose, everything important goes in it. 8 GB Cruzer Micro USB Flash drive has more than enough space to carry all your files and even your friends.

Vista -- the new and the most talked about Operating System (OS) from Microsoft -- has received mixed reviews. Users have genuine complains but it isn’t stopping PC and notebook makers from installing it in the new sets. There was an interesting article in PC-Stats.com about how much memory is enough for Microsoft’s Vista. According to it, generally one does not require a hardware overhauling when an OS is installed but with Vista, everything needs a refurbish, so that the blue-eyed Vista baby functions without any jerk. But, still the problem persists …

Nikon seems to be on an expansion spree. L-series gets two new additions – the 7-megapixel Coolpix L14 and 8-megapixel L15.
