Samsung is on a song -- first we had their computers, then cameras, now comes the news of three Ultra mobile models from their stable. The three models join their predecessor Q1 Ultra. The new ones are -- Q1U-ELXP, Q1U-XP and Q1U-SSDXP, it seems the Ultra mobile PC segment is shimmering with brand new and better models.
Catering to the low-end buyers -- powered by 600MHz A100 Ultra Mobile processor and equipped with 40 GB hard drives -- Q1U-ELXP is priced around $999. Slightly costlier than Q1U-ELXP -- Q1U-XP comes with a 800MHz A110 processor and an 80GB hard drive and has a price tag of $1149.
Q1U-SSDXP model has the same processor like Q1U-XP, but is priced at $1649, the addition in price is due to the 32GB NAND flash drive. In all the three models, Windows XP Tablet Edition operating system runs. I haven't seen many people talking about Q1 Ultra, so kind of apprehensive about the latest three offering by Samsung.
