Chained to Microsoft OS - for Court's Software Compatibility

Scott McCausland is not a happy man -- even you won’t be if you were in his shoes. First, he was incarcerated -- for five months -- and after his release he has been chained to Microsoft operating system. This bizarre tale and his trouble started when he downloaded Star Wars Episode III and uploaded it to EliteTorrens Website (administered by him) …

The twist in the tale came, when he was asked to replace his Ubuntu Linux operating system with Microsoft operating system. The judge ordered so to ensure his system is compatible with court’s computer monitoring software.

As expected, he is not glad about it, “I just think that it is totally ridiculous to force me to purchase an OS because they can’t support it.”

“I consent to period checks of my PC by my PO and/or the installation of software to monitor my internet activity.’ I am CONSENTING TO ALL OF IT, but it just so happens that the OS I use might not be supported by the software they use to monitor.”

Like a good citizen -- who have every right to crib but cannot infringe a court’s order -- he is raising money asking for donations (on his website) -- to buy Microsoft OS. Innocent readers and hackers -- think twice before downloading and uploading something, otherwise double jeopardy is waiting for you – first you go to the dungeon then you have to bear the MS OS.
