RIP’s researchers have designed a battery that looks like a piece of paper. This prototype square, paper-thin, battery will be the source of power for electronics and other devices. Interesting isn’t it, and to top the look of a paper, it will be printed like a newspaper. The battery is kind of an integrated device, which is a battery but can also be rolled and twisted and used inside your iPods, cell phones and any other devices.
It seems we are soon going to say good-bye to the good old round and flat shaped batteries, and replace them with some high tech ones, which will make us scratch our head, wondering -- will it really work. We are not sure, when this paper battery will come in the market for consumption, but we can tell you that there are many people waiting for the prototype to convert into a commercial model.
