We promised to bring more information on DSC-T200 and DSC-T70, as soon as Sony makes it official. So, here comes the info which confirms everything -- Sony Cybershot T-series Cameras -- DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 have taken a little jump (as in upgrade) and comes with a new smile shutter function and both features an intuitive touch screen that allows instant subject selection, the one you want to focus on – in shooting mode, and also view selection, the image you want to see or the one you want to zoom on -- in playback mode.
According to Sony’s press release, “The ultra-thin, 8-megapixel DSC-T200 model raises the bar with a 3.5-inch wide LCD touch-panel that controls all of the camera's settings and a 5x Carl Zeiss(R) optical zoom lens. This model will be available in silver, black and red.”
“The 8-megapixel DSC-T70 camera features a 3-inch wide LCD touch panel and a 3x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens. It will be offered in silver, black, white and pink.”
The new DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 digital cameras will be available in September and have a price tag of $400 and $300, respectively. Smile shutter -- claims to automatically detect and capture a person smiling -- wow, I am still wondering how can it do that, but technology has gone crazy anything is possible. So keep smiling, for those natural and beautiful still shots of yours.
