I am kind of amused by the amazing battery revolution. If I thought paper battery design is a grand one, then this one beats it pulp and uses that sweet pulp to run batteries. Sony Japan has designed bioelectric batteries, which run on sugar. Pour your favorite juice or glucose rich drink, and connect it to your 4-cell Walkman speaker, and enjoy the music.
In the lab this sugary run battery has given the highest output of 50mW. These bioelectric batteries are what the environmentalist ordered. Even you wouldn’t mind sharing your drink with your battery.
