Nowadays, Swarovski crystals are not only adorning pretty girls but also sleek computers/laptops. The latest to join the Techno-Swarovski (a made up name) zone is --Viewsonic. The company, recently, showcased the “VX2255wmb/h monitor” -- with Swarovski gems adorning left side, right side, top and bottom of the 22-inch widescreen display case. Looks great, but as I stated before, here, I am not too fond of crystals and technology association.

However, the specifications look good enough -- the monitor has a blinged out display with resolution of 1680 x 1050, 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 160/160 viewing angle. It comes with built-in stereo speakers, microphone, and 1.3 mega-pixel webcam.

The information on price is still not available, though it will cost you good. The best thing to do is, check it out, say couple of amusing words of praise and forget about VX2255wmb/h monitor.
