Sony does it again, or should I say---Sony is continuously doing what it does best, releasing new set of brand new Vaio laptops. This time Vaio AR 600 series gets new 17-inch display additions--- AR630E, AR660U and Vaio AR690U. While AR630E comes with Blu-Ray drive, the AR660U is equipped with CablecCard. The more loaded out of the three, AR690U features both BLU Ray drive and Cablecard.
The new laptops are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 or T7500 processor. You can either choose between Vista Home or Ultimate. Other features are 1.3MP webcam, 8400M GT and 8600M GT NVIDIA video graphic, dual 160GB SATA HDDs and HDMI out.
Among the three, AR630E is quite economical with a price tag of $1,700---AR660U will cost you $2,400---and the priciest one is the AR690U-$3,300. All the models are expected to hit the shelves around October 2nd.
