Recently, Acer launched three new laptops to update its Aspire and Ferrari Series. Two new babies join the Aspire series---7720G and 2920, both the machines have Gemstone design theme. The 17 inch model, 7720G is updating the Aspire 7720 version---it is equipped with features similar to desktop replacement and is based on Santa Rosa platform. On the other hand, the 12.1 inch---2920 model is an ultraportable model and is based on Santa Rosa with Core 2 Duo processor.
For a traveler who is also an ardent gamer, the 7720G features ATI Mobility Radeon HD2300 graphics card with up to 1GB of HyperMemory. The multimedia laptop is equipped with 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, up to 4GB RAM, dual.
The 2920 model features Intel GMA X310 graphics, 250GB hard drive, 1280 x 800 resolution, a/b/g/n wireless and the other features same as 7720G. The 7720G model is going to cost you approximately $2,998.
Acer and Ferrari partnership has delivered another baby----“12.1-inch 1100”. The new design features “lots carbon fibre, red highlights and the famous Prancing Horse logo of the Maranello based company. (according to TrustedReviews)” Unlike the Aspire models, this Ferrai version is powered by AMD machine and comes with 2.3GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-66 processor, ATI Radeon X1250 integrated 3D graphics card with up to 960 MB of HyperMemory, white LED backlighting.
