The blonde singer is launching a new fragrance and has an excellent, original idea for its campaign. A naked back! How much more original could this get? The ad will see her show off her bare back and she would flash an eyelid at the viewer and hiss “sometimes it’s all you need to wear”. She is trying to promote her skin and her product. Smart little blonde woman. She knows how to play her cards right.

But original, she is not. It is the same typical idea of going naked in some manner or the other. So many women are going naked on screen to promote some or the other brand that it looks like a huge trend now. It would not be surprising to see a complete naked war on screen to launch products. It’s like the women are now trying to reach a new equality whereby they stand in par with the men who go all chest-bared in ads. The men will now to no longer have reasons to hide porn magazines in the loo; they just need to switch channels.
