Dell's Powerful Offering-XPS M1730 Gaming Notebook

Dell recently introduced the first gaming notebook equipped with AGEIA PhysX 100M processor. PC gamers are having a great time, Voodoo, Toshiba and now Dell---it cannot get better than this. Dell’s “XPS M1730” gaming notebook supports overclocking of the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor X7900 to Bin+2 (up to 3.2GHz) and features NVIDIA SLI technology with support for DirectX 10 graphics.



This 17-inch, UltraSharp widescreen, notebook is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor at 2.2GHz. You can also go in for Intel Core 2 Duo X7900 processor (2.8GHz). Other specifications are 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, NVIDIA GeForce Go 8700M GT GPUs with 256MB and a 200GB hard drive, also offers the choice of solid state disk drives.

If you buy it now, you will get the machine equipped with "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2" from Ubisoft (this feature is there for only limited time). The machine’s chassis can handle the thermal and power requirements of the most powerful next-generation graphics technology. According to Dell, it is going to offer the graphics upgrade program when the next generation graphics processor is available.

There are four color options available---crimson red, sapphire blue, bone white and smokey grey---to personalize XPS M1730. This Dell’s gaming beauty sports a high definition display with a response time of 7ms. It supports Dell's LightFX application, which allows users to manipulate system's multi-colored perimeter lighting LEDs. XPS M1730 comes with a backlit keyboard with separate 10-key number pad.

Other features are: optional in-built mobile broadband connectivity, Wi-Fi technology (an optional Wireless-N), built-in 2-megapixel Web camera and digital array microphone.

The price starts at $3000. The game is getting hotter and quite exciting, so who will take the biggest gaming notebook cake piece. Never bother, you enjoy the good gaming times, there is something for everyone.
