30%20car_Crush_small01.jpgIf you are in Manchester (England), be careful. Follow the traffic rules sincerely, because even a single flout may prove fatal for your car. Please don’t laugh! This has happed to as many as 10000 vehicles. Manchester police have crushed these vehicles after impounding them for their owners flouted traffic rules. This is not an autocracy of Manchester police but they are vested with this power to avert untoward incidents on roads. Performing their duty, the police has impounded as many as 25000 cars within a short period. So, beware! If you are among these 25000 car owners. This is my kind request to you to go to police station within two weeks to seizure of your car, otherwise you will miss the bus.

The police has been given directives that if any vehicle owner does not turns up at police station, within this time period, crush down his car. Moreover, to get back your car, you may have to shell out £105 fee for recovery, a £12 a day storage fee, and a £200 on-the-spot fine. In addition to this to keep track on each vehicle owner, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras are fitted to cars with software that checks surrounding vehicle number plates against various databases to determine whether the car is unregistered, uninsured or even belonging to a driver wanted for a crime.
