Hey! Car aficionados. Yet another SUV is in the offing. This time it is from Kia, a carmaker from Korea. The new SUV has not been given any officials brand name but it has been given sobriquet of HM. Name has nothing to do right at this stage but what matters is the features of the crossover. It is being termed that the new SUV will be based upon Mesa car concept, which was launched in 2005 and in size will be larger then Sorento another car from the stable. The new model may debut in 2008 Detroit Auto Show, which is scheduled in January 2008. However, it will be sold in America as 2009 model. Just by having a look at silhouetted image of the SUV, what comes in mind that it will be quite conventional as far as looks are concerned. Company could have worked upon its exteriors to give it a futuristic look, as it will also target the Y generation that believes in experimentation.

Since I have told everything about the SUV that appear in 2008, I think I should have also spilled beans about the mechanics of this seven seater utility vehicle. Though the stable has not officially announced about the features of the crossover, but it seems that the SUV will share Sorento's mechanics. And it would be powered by 3.8-liter V6 engine. At performance level the crossover will drive you crazy. So, it is worth waiting till January 2008.
