Panasonic launched its second digital SLR camera – Lumix DMC-L10 -- at IFA. This 10.1 mega-pixel MOS sensor, 2.5-inch LCD comes with a fully articulated screen and live view with sensor based auto-focus. It is also equipped with Supersonic Wave Filter system (a dust reduction system for the sensor) and Venus Engine III image processor (for high quality image rendering)
The other features are Face Detection, Intelligent ISO Control function, optical image stabilizer and nine scene modes. According to its press release, “The DMC-L10 adopts the open format of the Four Thirds system for its lens mount -- so the L10 can be used with lenses made by a variety of manufacturers, giving users a host of equipment options.” Panasonic’s touch difference in this camera is the LEICA D VARIO-ELMAR 14-50mm / F3.8-5.6 / MEGA O.I.S. lens.
DMC-L10 is slated for an October launch. I am not keen on this Camera, but we have a Camera feast this month, one after another, all the beauties will adorn that sales shelf. Let’s hear some post-clicking experience.
