For us sluggards, who do not like the effort to back up the files, and then crib later if we lose everything in a crash. Seagate’s OneTouch4family will suit us fine. It has three new hard-drives in the family -- OneTouch 4 Plus, OneTouch 4 and OneTouch 4 Mini. All the three use USB 2.0 interface to transfer data, and they are equipped with one-touch back-up feature (you only need to push one button to back-up all the data that is inside the drive).

One can also opt for automatic file back-up process, by setting the specific time. The Plus of the family has an encryption feature, which will lock up any files you drag to a specific password-protected folder.
All of them are Windows and Mac compatible.
