Toshiba partnered with Lineage 2 to bring out the Toshiba Dynabook Satellite WXW -- Lineage 2 Laptop -- for die-hard Lineage II Fans. This 17-inches screen -- with WSXGA+ resolution -- laptop is designed solely to handle the demanding Lineage 2 application. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM, a GeForce 8700M GT and a Core 2 Duo CPU (BTO).
Though the specifications aren’t great for standard usage, but there are other Toshiba models available to serve that purpose. This one is dedicated to Lineage 2. Ever since its launch on October 1, 2003, in South Korea, Lineage 2 -- the fantasy massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) for the PC -- has become immensely popular among the gamers, in the month of March (source-Wikipedia) -- there were 610,918 unique users.
The game depicts the struggle that takes place, in an era, when several provinces come under one rule. It is kind of survival of the fittest -- in this one ruler world, the gamers fight to take control of a major part or the whole part of the kingdom. It is more of the combat and player versus player battles, and the game also features sophisticated political, economic, and social systems to continue the struggle for power and oneupmanship.
It isn’t any wonder that Toshiba has designed Lineage 2 laptop, and I can see the crazy glint in the eyes of the Lineage fans. Buy one and start the fight to conquer and win.
