Recently, ViewSonic launched a brand new line of personal HDTVs that also function as your computer display. The 19-inch NX1932w and 22-inch NX2232w, from the ViewSonic’s Diamani DUO lineage, are HDTVs in entirety and are equipped with HDMI input (used for pure digital signals) an integrated ATSC HD tuner and a built-in, 10W speaker system. Also features VGA output, combined with the option of a DVI-to-HDMI adapter, that converts the displays into functional computer monitors.
Priced at $349, NX1932w features 1440 x 900 resolution, five-millisecond response time, 800:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, a pair of five-watt speakers, integrated ATSC / NTSC / QAM tuner, / S-Video / composite, and audio in / out. In comparison, NX2232w offers 1680 x 1050 resolution and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The twins share component video-in, RCA, and S-video to address analog sources. However, you need to shell out more for NX2232w, $399. Both the beauties are available for your order.
