Hey Swedish! Volvo V70 (special vehicle) that was unveiled recently has donned police dress and is all set to help police to guard you. To ensure that you get maximum protection, the cop version of the V70 is considerably modified compared to the standard car in term of features. To let it adapt to the dynamic working environment of the police, some changes have been carried out in chassis, brakes and wheels, while an enhanced electrical system has been introduced.

In order to deliver maximum performance this ‘Swedish cop’ has been empowered with Volvo's D5 diesel engine that delivers 185 hp. The Volvo is also in process to introduce new 200 hp 2.5 FT Flexi-fuel (E85) version by next year. The first of the new Volvo V70 police cars will be delivered in January next year, while later in 2008 Volvo's four-wheel-drive XC70 will also be produced in a police version to protect you.
