Miss Moneypenny of the James Bond fame has died at the age of 80 in Australia. Her first appearance was in 1960 when she acted opposite Sean Connery. This just proves that women age must faster than men. At 80, she had hardly received the kind of adieu that would have been evident with Connery’s reputation. It’s such a sad truth that women normally aren’t admired much when they reach an age that defines their vital statistics similar to that of an ape’s.

Ever wondered whether the real blondes of today will ever age? What would they be like? Imagine Paris Hilton with a lot of loose cellulite hanging about her and her first poodle’s great grand-dog as her pet and trying to put on makeup to still look hot and attractive. That would be a sight. Ignoring the dumb blonde, Ms Moneypenny was last seen in a movie in the earlier part of this century but otherwise, she sort of seeped into the shadows after her 1960 screen steaming. May her lovely soul rest in peace. Amen.
