Pentax has recently introduced “Pentax Optio V10”. The 3.0 inch LCD monitor digital camera is equipped with 8.0 effective megapixels and 3X optical zoom. The camera sports a 19mm ultra slim body (the credit goes to slim battery and the smaller circuit board.) and features wide viewing angle of 170 degrees from all directions. Most of the cameras are playing with weight, size, mega-pixels, or optical zoom, even this camera has gone the same way with nothing extraordinary to boast of.
Like other members of the economical digital cameras, this one also features Shake Reduction (Digital SR) mode, Face Recognition AF&AE function, Auto Picture mode (eliminates the need to manually set the mode). We do not have information on, how much and when, and it does not matter much if you are not a Pentax brand loyalist.
