Time for some coffee, but oops wait … you have a habit of spilling beverages and with a laptop in front of you, it is better not to take chances, coffee break can happen when you are in front of a TV or in a restaurant. But, if you buy Sony’s Vaio G type notebook, you can have your beverages while working and can spill it and not fret about the mess. That is what Sony wants us to believe, as the new Vaio baby comes with a built-in drainage system to shield the machine from liquid.
As soon as you spill your drink, the system will automatically turn-off. The other advantage with this waterproof laptop is that its LCD screen can withstand scratches. I suggest, you still be careful and not pour a whole glass of orange juice to check if the drainage system works or not---as we are not sure if it is capable enough to prevent electrical shortages and corrosion.
The G-Notebooks are slated to hit the shelves on October 6th in Japan. Depending on personal customization, the prices will vary, however the base price starts from $1500.
